Description
Boasting old floorboards, original beams and quirky features, this historical semi-detached cottage allows guests to switch off from the outside world. The location benefits from easy access to countryside walks but it's also just a few minutes walk from charming shops, cafés and country pubs. Our first guests used the space as an escape to write their scripts and novels and we encourage all guests to relish in the romance of village living and explore their creativity. The space Set over three floors, you’ll feel instantly at home here. A selection of books, boardgames and puzzles allow guests to step away from technology during their stay. However, those who are looking to stay connected and work, can enjoy 50mbps wi-fi throughout the house. There is also a television that can be used for watching Netflix, Amazon or other streaming services if you bring your log in details. A variety of the features here are quirky and loveable, but also not for every guest. This includes a narrow, spiral staircase you can see in the pictures, as well as uneven hundred-year-old floorboards and low ceilings. For those with very young children or mobility issues, we understand these could be a problem, but we hope you can love these features as much as we do. Entrance level - A 27sqm Open plan kitchen/living area with a fireplace. Dining table, seating area. Half floor - Porch which leads to garden. 1st Floor - Primary bedroom, one bathroom and a writing area. 2nd Floor - Attic room. Guest access The three floor house and garden will be exclusively yours during your stay. Other things to note Because of the property’s age, spiral staircases and also because the bedrooms are on two different floors, this isn’t the most suitable house for those with young children or mobility issues.
