Welcome to the Ecobosque del mar! You will love this place if you are looking for a unique experience: An unforgettable encounter with nature. The hostel is in the forest, there are rivers and waterfalls, trails and the best thing: the beach. Being so close to the Corcovado National Park, it is a rural area where you will be able to observe many types of animals. Monkeys, toucans, sloths, raccoons and even tapirs and pumas have been spotted here. We welcome you as if you were coming home. My family's property is very large. The river runs through it and ends at the sea. The construction is quite basic and simple, we are very humble people and we are very happy and grateful with what we have in our life. The rooms are pretty basic, they have the most important things you need to sleep peacefully and safely. But you can't expect luxuries. The hostel is in the middle of nature, it is built open to be able to see nature and it is an encounter with mother earth. In fact we continue to build this project from the heart that keeps getting more beautiful with every idea that our guests give us. We are happy to receive your advice to improve our hostel and to make you part of this project! You can use the full kitchen, the shared bathrooms, the terrace on the second floor, the river at the back of the property and the sea in front. Here you can feel at home. I would love to get to know you, to take you to places that are very nice in that area and that are not well known. I work in a hotel nearby but in the time I have I love to socialise with the people who stay in my hostel. But if someone wants their privacy, I accept that of course. Only our family lives around the property. It is a very quiet and safe place. We are surrounded by pure nature, jungle, rivers and sea. There are waterfalls nearby with a swimming pool. You can enjoy the beach which is a 1 minute walk away and you can also find the mountains and forest behind and to the sides of the property. There are many trails for you to enjoy. There are all the most important things close by: -two sodas (very small restaurants) -a small store where you can buy the basics. Here you can go to all the nearest places on foot. There is a lot to see and walking you can observe the beauties of our mother earth. If you need to go somewhere you don't want to walk to, we can arrange a cab to take you wherever you want to go. Here you can also take a car to the entrance of the property.
