BAHAMA PALM is a remote, serene and quiet residential settlement about a 20 minute drive from Marsh Harbor airport and 25 minute drive from Marsh Harbour. The closest restaurants are in Marsh Harbour (20-30 minute drive) and the closest bar is Pete's Pub & Gallery - a lovely beach bar (25 minute drive). Need a break from cooking on vacation? We will send you plenty of recommendations for dining and take out options (within 20-30 minutes drive). MARSH HARBOUR is a small town where you can find grocery stores, casual and fine dining, takeout, schools, shopping. There are 2 large grocery stores and a great fish store located in Marsh Harbour. We are happy to connect you with local guides for diving, fishing, boat tours, swimming pigs tours, stingray, sharks and green turtle sightings, and more! A car is needed to get around on the island and there is no Uber / Lyft on the island. Taxis are available but can get very expensive. We have a car that can be rented. POWER OUTAGES in the summertime are not unusual across the Abaco islands and can last a few hours. CONSTRUCTION materials are present under the house as we are working on expanding the property. This space is not suitable for young children so please keep them away from this area. Additionally, we ask that guests do not go under the house as there are lose nails, lumber, etc. Because of this we are offering a temporary reduction on the price.
