The space Welcome to the Fabulous Fourth Ward Flat located in one of Fourth Ward's most unique homes in the center of everything Uptown Charlotte has to offer. Home to stunning views of the Charlotte skyline, Fourth Ward Park, and some of Uptown's most historic architecture, this well-appointed apartment offers everything you'll need for a fabulous stay in the Queen City. As you enter the Flat you will be greeted by a charming living room with a large futon, sitting chairs, a 40" TV offering satellite & streaming, and happy colorful decor. In the kitchen, you will find appliances, spacious counter-tops, dining-ware, and all the cooking essentials you could possibly need to make a perfect meal! A washer and dryer are located inside the Flat, so there is no need to go home with dirty laundry! The spacious bedroom features a queen bed, a large walk-in closet, a lap-top friendly work space, plush bathrobes, and exquisite bed linens. The Flat offers your own private porch with a view that makes you forget you are in the middle of the city! Although the Flat does not have a fenced yard, there's a large park just across the street and a dog park less than 1 mile away. The Fabulous Flat is sure to exceed even the highest expectations for cleanliness and comfort! PARKING IN FOURTH WARD: Controlled by the City of Charlotte, guest parking in Fourth Ward is on-street only and - when parking is needed for more than 2 hours - requires the purchase of a parking permit which a resident (your host) must do you on your behalf. The permits are $18 per vehicle per day. Please note that permits are only available to neighborhood residents and their guests; there is always an open space nearby! Guest access The Fabulous Flat offers self check-in. You'll have the entire home to yourself and may come and go as you please! Just please be mindful that your host's family resides just beyond your interior door and that neighborhood quiet hours are strictly enforced. Finally, visitors are not permitted without express authorization from your host. Other things to note For security and logistics reasons, this property does not participate in the Airbnb Experiences and Services program. Only the people on the reservation are permitted on the property. CITY NOISE ORDINANCE As of March 2025 and continuing for some months, a new home is being constructed on a neighboring lot and so you may see construction vehicles and hear related noise. Please note that Charlotte city ordinances prohibit construction noise from 9:00pm to 7:00am. If you experience noise outside these hours, please alert me so that I can report it to the authorities. PETS There is a non-refundable fee of $50 for each pet (except registered service animals as required by law). Please note that your rate does not include these additional fees, and that I will follow up with a payment request. For safety and insurance purposes, you are required to disclose whether pets will be on/in the property, and how many. I provide starter supplies of coffee, assorted teas, cold filtered water, and many other items such as condiments, paper products, personal care products, and cleaning products. If you need anything more, please don't hesitate to ask. I keep a supply of things like toothbrushes, razors, and deodorant in case my guests forget to pack their own! PARKING IN FOURTH WARD If you're traveling with a vehicle you should be aware that, as a city, parking in Charlotte can be a challenge. Aside from the nearby for-fee parking garages, the city controls parking in this neighborhood, which is ON-STREET only, and - after a 2-hour grace period - is restricted to neighborhood residents and their guests at varying hours depending on the day of the week. As a courtesy to my guests, I offer to purchase a resident guest parking permit for $18 per vehicle per day (a 24-hour period from 12:00am-11:59pm) as long as you send the required information at least 24 hours before arrival; after then, we can't guarantee that we'll be able to get the permit. Please note that the home's driveway is not available to guests. It is for the exclusive use of the homeowner and staff. We hope this information helps you plan your trip to Charlotte!
