Tropical Seabright Beach and Boardwalk Getaway

Come soak up the sun and positive vibes of Santa Cruz in our private, adorable, tropical 2 bedroom space. All the amenities of home. Walking distance to the beach, The Boardwalk, Yacht harbor and tasty eateries. Complete with extras for the beach. The perfect location for couples, friends and families! The space Located 4 blocks from the yacht harbor, only six blocks from the beach and a short walk or ride to The Boardwalk, our sunny, tropical getaway is a great place to relax and close to many delicious restaurants and coffee shops. Guests can also reach the UCSC campus as well as many hiking and biking trails in approximately 15 minutes. Uniquely located in the “banana belt” of Santa Cruz, our Seabright neighborhood sees significantly less fog than other low-lying areas of the city due to its close proximity to the Santa Cruz yacht harbor. Our cozy retreat is clean and comfortable with a light, beachy feel. The space is a duplex with the host next door in the adjoining house. A large green, happy palm tree greets guests as they enter through a private gate into the front yard. Bamboo and abundant foliage fill this space providing privacy and sunny, green vibes. The entire yard is fenced as well. The front yard has a nice area to lounge and enjoy a nice meal. Our sunny airbnb also has a side yard where complementary beach amenities (boogie board, foam surfboard, beach chairs, rolling cooler, fold up rolling cart, umbrella, beach blanket and beach toys). An outdoor shower, complete with hot and cold water is the perfect place to rinse the sand away after an afternoon of playing in the surf and is located in the back yard. Entering the house through the front yard, one will find a cozy, bright living room with a queen-sized sleeper sofa and flat screen tv with Apple TV. Wifi is also included. We have two comfortable queen size beds and soft bedding. A fully stocked kitchen includes dishes, cook and bakeware as well as basic spices, oil, coffee, gas stove, microwave and a toaster oven. Our home also comes with a washer and dryer and plenty of fluffy towels. Beach towels are also provided. **ATTENTION!** Per Santa Cruz City law, we are required as Airbnb hosts to collect the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) . The TOT is 14% of the entire booking. You will see this fee when you book. Guest access The space has a separate, gated entrance complete with a private front, back and side yard. The entire yard for the beach getaway is fenced off and has a lovely table beneath the cherry tree and bamboo Other things to note As a precaution, please do not leave valuables in your vehicle and remember to lock the doors when you leave the house. The floor heater in the cottage can get quite hot. If traveling with small children, a child gait can be found in the front or back closet to block off the hallway from the floor heater.
