Situated in the shade of a huge mature oak tree overlooking our windmill and rustic 70 year old barn, the Oak House at the Seven Oaks Ranch is ideal if you’re hosting a larger group. It features five bedrooms and four bathrooms for up to 12 people. The space With nearly 4,000 square feet of living space, the Oak House boasts two large living areas including a family room with a pool table, plus three outdoor patios and gorgeous views of the rolling hills, seasonal pond and historic barn. The kitchen is large and fully supplied and has a bar with four stools that encourages time with family and friends. The second level master suite encompasses the entire second floor (approximately 700 sq ft) with a large seating area and an outside deck which features spectacular views of the ranch. Three of the five bedrooms have California king beds, one has a queen bed and one has two twin beds, and all four bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers. When the time comes for meals at the Oak House you have many options. The large dining room with a 14 foot table easily seats 12 or more, the kitchen bar seats four, and a beautiful oak table seats four. For outside dining you’ll find a delightful covered and lit side patio area with a gas barbecue, and a front deck leading to a cozy bonfire ring that is perfect for smores. The comfortable library has a great selection of reading material, and the couch converts to a full-size bed. Although this spacious home is comfortable and inviting, you may actually spend little time indoors once you see the beauty of the ranch and the comfortable outdoor seating. Enjoy the many activities available including horseshoes, corn hole, wild animal or bird watching, canoeing in the seasonal pond, or strolling down the old ranch road that extends over a mile to the south end of this beautiful property. The gorgeous Seven Oaks Ranch is a 230 acre nature preserve situated in a scenic valley just six miles from the historic town of Santa Margarita. Three beautiful and well-appointed homes provide ample space for large or small gatherings such as weddings, family celebrations, retreats or vacations. The homes are available individually or as a package. The property features scenic rolling hills with majestic oak trees, digger pines, wildflowers, seasonal ponds, and streams dotting the landscape. Wildlife is plentiful including deer, wild turkeys, quail, plus the occasional fox, bobcat, wild pig or coyote. While on the property you can simply relax and absorb the peaceful atmosphere, have a picnic under a 500 year old oak tree, take a calming walk in the countryside, or enjoy one of the many other activities offered at the Seven Oaks Ranch such as wild animal or bird watching, hiking, canoeing or horseshoes. A huge 20’ covered picnic table and bar-b-que area is available for use by guests of all three homes. Seven Oaks is located between San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, so hundreds of vineyards are just a scenic drive away. The historic town of San Luis Obispo with Cal Poly State University is also nearby. In addition, the beach communities of Pismo Beach, Shell Beach, Avila Beach, Morro Bay, Cayucos, and Cambria are nearby. Whatever your plans or interests, the Seven Oaks Ranch is the perfect destination to discover the wonders of nature, get some rest and relaxation, or use as a base camp as you explore the beautiful central coast of California.
