Greenthum Cottage

Greenthum a lovely little cosy country cottage a home away from home. Located north of Stanthorpe in quiet Thulimbah you can’t help but slow down & unwind to look forward to what this place has to offer. Formerly this forestry house has been relocated on a large block & recently renovated to bring in hints of country charm with modern colonial style. The high ceilings make the living aspect roomy & cosy at the same time and in summer light & airy. The space You can’t help but to embrace the surroundings that are offered to you and certainly a refreshing change to the hustle and bustle of city life. There is plenty to see and do. We have discovered that our road gives you access to national parks and lookouts, several wineries, close by Vindenzo’s Café & Deli at the Big Apple and the Stanthorpe Cheese Factory. For those that have just taken a trip to Stanthorpe to just stop and rest and relax Greenthum Cottage can offer that cosy feel of curling up in front of the fire to read a book, listen to music old vinyl records and sip on a coffee or glass of wine whichever you’re choosing. We have a collection of board games, or if you want to simply watch a DVD its there on offer. We also have internet Guest access Turning right off from the New England highway 2.5 hours drive from Brisbane you will find Amiens Road where the Big Apple is located. Not too far from there is our cottage. Other things to note Please note: Our cottage is suitable for a couple, or 2 couples maximum of 4 adults. Our home is not child safe for young children. We Do Not accommodate single beds or cots. We have a Queensize Beds in each of the rooms. Please know that it is a personal choice with sleeping arrangements for 12ys to adolescence to young adults.
