Cielo Pacifico (“peaceful sky”) is a part of the beautiful and *brand new* Casa Hygge community, located in the quaint town of El Pescadero. Casa Hygge is surrounded by chili and basil fields, layers of mountains to the east, and views of the Pacific Ocean to the west. The location is so stunning – it’s where the desert meets the ocean and the mountains! The space Embrace the true feeling of “hygge” (comfort and contentment) while staying with us! Cielo Pacifico is ready for you: - Comfortable king size bed and extra blankets - Bathroom and beautiful shower area - Fully-equipped small kitchen - Ample storage space – both hanging and built-ins - Three private lounge areas – living room, front porch, and roof top! - Washer /Dryer combo - Chic, minimalistic bohemian decor - Air conditioning - Ceiling fan - Excellent wifi - Wall-mounted Roku TV - Hammock - Filtered drinking water - Private covered parking space The main living area has tall sliding doors to the front porch (screen doors too, to catch the breeze), which allows ample sunshine when desired, as well as floor-to-ceiling drapes and shutters when you want to block the sun or prefer more privacy. Behind the bed are sliding windows with a picturesque view of the bougainvillea vines just behind the bungalow – so beautiful and vibrant! The kitchen is stocked with plates, bowls, dessert bowls, glasses, wine glasses, cocktail mixer and shot glasses, silverware and other utensils, cookware, mixing bowls, salad spinner, blender, coffee maker, toaster oven, and toaster. There is a two-burner electric stove for cooking up a fresh meal. The bathroom features vertical windows for natural sunlight, as well as hand-placed river pebble flooring in the shower, and towel hooks. Sleek spiral stairs on the outside of the bungalow lead up to the rooftop, where a built-in couch, two chairs, and a large coffee table under a pergola take center stage. Up there, you have fabulous views of the sunset and surrounding areas! A perfect hangout spot for day or night, but especially at night – turn the outdoor lights on and soak in the stars. Guest access The entire bungalow is for your private enjoyment! The grounds of Casa Hygge are shared amongst the other guests, which is a great way to meet others traveling or owners of other bungalows. The shared spaces include: - Pool with loungers and umbrellas - Game Room (pool table, boardgames, darts, TV and lounge area, and mini library. - Sky Gym and Yoga Deck – an open-air gym space with mats, weights, bands, etc. - Hammocks and lounge areas throughout the central gardens - Wood-burning firepit with cozy chairs and solar lanterns Other things to note There is so much to do in the area! Some of our favorites include enjoying the wonderful restaurants, shopping at the small boutiques, live music, local beaches, day trips to La Paz, which is a little over an hour away, and day trips to the Cabo area, which is also a little over an hour away. - 10 minute walk to ocean access at the end of the road! - 22 minute walk (10 minute drive) to the world class surf beach of San Pedrito - 10 minute drive to the family-friendly swim / surf beach, Cerritos - 12 minute drive to the vibrant town of Todos Santos Pescadero is the perfect location to be centered from all the stunning places in Baja California Sur in a reachable distance on 2 or 4 wheels. - 56 minutes to Cabo San Lucas - 1 hour 10 minutes to charming San Jose Del Cabo - 1 hour 10 minutes to La Paz and the sea of Cortez where you find more stunning beaches and whale shark adventures to experience - 1 hour 20 minutes to La Ventana ** Airport runs of distance to San Jose del Cabo 100 km and La Paz 99 km El Pescadero is home to a magnificent array of creatures from whales to roadrunners and humming birds. But please be mindful that we share this uniquely beautiful landscape with the occasional iguana, scorpion, spider and other insects also.
