The space Welcome to Watershed Cabin 1, a cozy mountain retreat on the scenic Watershed Resort in Bryson City. Perfect for couples or small families, this cabin features 1 king bedroom, plus extra sleeping space on a futon in the loft, and 2 full bathrooms for convenience. The open kitchen, dining, and living room create a warm gathering space, complete with a pool table for a little friendly competition. Unwind by the indoor fireplace or take the relaxation outside with a second fireplace on the deck, overlooking the trees. Soak in the private hot tub, sway in the backyard hammock, and let your pets enjoy the fresh mountain air—because this cabin is pet friendly! With a washer/dryer and all the essentials of home, plus access to the Watershed Resort’s hiking trails, waterfall, playground, and sunset spot “The Yard,” this cabin blends comfort and adventure for your Smoky Mountain escape. Cabin Layout Kitchen Your kitchen is appointed with granite countertops, all new, stainless steel appliances that include a microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker. We also provide you with all the dishes, utensils, and cooking tools you'll need. A gas grill is provided for BBQ connoisseurs (full propane tank included). Great Room The great room features a large living and dining area with a round, pounded-copper dining table suitable for seating 6. The modern-rustic decor features a nubuck leather sofa, hardwood floors, stone fireplace, and log-wall interiors. There is a satellite dish and streaming services. The dining area opens through French patio doors out to a covered deck. Sleeping Accommodations All our cabins feature both down and foam pillows as well as down comforters. Each bed has a pillow-top mattress and luxury, all-cotton linens. Plush bath towels are provided for the base number of occupancy with additional towels for hot tub use. Ground Floor There is a full bath and laundry room just off the kitchen. Loft Floor There is a private bedroom with a king bed and a shared bath. There is a TV in the bedroom. The other side of the upstairs is an open loft with a 7' slate pool table and a balcony overlooking the side deck area and thick trees. There is also additional sleeping on a queen-size futon. This open loft area looks over the loft railing into the living room. Resort Amenities Our Resort property features several outdoor areas for your enjoyment. The Yard is the center of our Resort. There, you can find a gorgeous view, seating, a group fire pit, a bocce ball court, corn hole, ladder ball, horseshoes, and our signature logzebo with a bed swing. Additionally, we have an onsite hiking trail that leads to the playground and our Eco Park, which features a waterfall and a custom mountain laurel bridge. WiFi is provided. This cabin is pet friendly with a $100 fee for up to 2 pets, Dogs only! Pet Policy We must know in advance if you are bringing a pet. This cabin is pet friendly with a $100 fee for up to 2 pets, Dogs only! We allow more than two pets only on a case-by-case basis. By bringing a pet, you agree to the terms of our complete Pet Agreement, which provides very specific rules for pets including: no pets on furniture (including beds and sofas), unattended pets in the cabin must be crated, and many other strict requirements. If we find evidence of pets on furniture, you will be charged $200. If we find evidence of pets damaging the property, including using the bathroom in unit, you will be charged $300. The Pet Agreement also provides that pets brought without advance notice will be charged $250 plus the normal pet fee. Pets brought to cabins that do NOT allow pets can result in immediate eviction with forfeiture of remaining paid stay. Guest access When you book Watershed Cabin 2, you’ll enjoy full access to the entire Watershed Resort. Explore on-site hiking trails, let the kids play at the playground, cool off by the waterfall, or relax in the resort’s common areas, including “The Yard,” a favorite gathering spot to watch unforgettable Smoky Mountain sunsets. Other things to note To ensure you have a comfortable experience, we provide a starter supply of the following items: Trash Bags Laundry Detergent Dishwasher Pods Paper Towels Toilet Paper Toiletries Coffee Firewood Propane for the gas grill Please note that these supplies are intended to get you started and may not be sufficient for your entire stay. You may need to purchase additional supplies depending on the length of your stay and your usage needs. We suggest you visit the grocery store before arriving at your cabin. Important Notice: Road Conditions in the Smoky Mountains Please be aware that road conditions in the Smoky Mountains can be unpredictable and may change rapidly due to weather. Our cabin’s roads & driveways are either pavement or gravel or both. Depending on the season, you may experience road conditions such as heavy rain washouts, snow, sleet, roads covered in leaves, etc. We highly recommend using a 4WD vehicle to ensure safe travel to your cabin, especially during winter months or inclement weather. We also strongly recommend traveling in a vehicle with higher ground clearance to navigate the terrain more easily. Low clearance vehicles will not be able to access certain cabin roads including The Watershed Resort. Please Note: NO REFUNDS will be issued if you are unable to reach your cabin due to road conditions. We advise checking weather and road conditions prior to your trip to ensure a safe and pleasant journey. Your safety is our priority. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Water Conservation Policy To ensure the sustainability of our beautiful mountain environment, we kindly ask all guests to use water mindfully during their stay. Please limit shower times, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, and report any leaks immediately. We also encourage the reuse of towels and linens to reduce water consumption. These small actions help preserve our natural resources and keep the mountains pristine for future visitors. Run the washer sparingly. Only run the dishwasher when it's full. DO NOT wash your car. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to your visit! Attention: Active Wildlife in the Area Our area of WNC is currently experiencing increased wildlife activity, particularly from bears. While it’s a privilege to share our environment with these magnificent creatures, it’s essential that we all take precautions to ensure our safety and theirs. Please follow these guidelines: Secure all food and garbage: Bears are attracted to strong smells. Do not leave food in your car and reattach bungee cords to trash can lids every time. Be aware of your surroundings: Stay alert, especially during dawn and dusk when wildlife is most active. Avoid close encounters: If you see a bear or other wildlife, maintain a safe distance and do not approach. Travel in groups: When possible, hike or explore with others, and make noise to alert animals of your presence. Keep dogs leashed at all times.
