THE ENGLISH WRITER'S COTTAGE. The Perfect Location
Wonderfully Charming and Unique Cottage! The “Writer’s Cottage,” earned its name for its English Cotswolds meets Santa Barbara bungalow aesthetic, & sits perfectly situated in the historical and picturesque Austin Ave/ Castle Heights neighborhood, just 3-5 min from Baylor & Downtown Waco. Don’t miss this special house! This home is unique in town. A cozy stucco cottage tucked away in a quite neighborhood with a back yard ringed in bamboo and hiding a secluded patio with a fire pit for reading and talking the hours away. Entire home and grounds except the garage. Josh and Jill own several very successful, 5 star rating vacation rentals, including 2 from the ever popular, Fixer Upper. They are no strangers to hospitality! Jill is a designer & former owner and founder of Common Grounds Coffee house. We are super available to whatever our guests need & are most quickly reached by text. We will ALWAYS respond to our guests needs as soon as is physically possible. This home is on the edge of the Castle Heights Neighborhood, recently deemed “uptown.” This area has some of the most beautiful and unique homes in Waco. A walk in this neighborhood is an architectural lovers delight! The home is centrally located and minutes to anything in town. Car is usually the best way to get around. However, many people walk/bike the uptown/downtown areas.... This house is cozy, but packs a big punch on the charm list. The master has a KING bed & shares a bath with the adjacent bedroom. The adjacent bedroom has A QUEEN , and the 3 rd bedroom has a QUEEN Bed. The 2nd bath is off the hallway leading down to the 3 rd bedroom. The kitchen is amazing- truly the heart of the home & where you and your guests will most likely gather most. The dining room and library area as well as the den, are essentially one big room off the kitchen.
