Bunkie On The River

Welcome to our four season bunkie retreat on the river. Leave the world behind and seek comfort and peace at Riverside Ranch. Imagine starting your day reconnecting with nature amidst wooded walking trails. Along your walk you see geese swimming in the river, goats exploring the woods, and Highland cattle grazing in the pasture. Upon return, you open the door to the crackle & pop of a toasty wood burning sauna, followed by an icy cold plunge in the river. *No air-conditioning* The space Riverside Ranch is a regenerative farm, offering overnight stays along the river. Guests have access to their own gated driveway, bunkie (cabin), and private area including fire pit, sauna, outhouse, riverfront, and walking trials in the woods. A map will be provided in the bunkie with trails and additional need to know info. Other things to note Our bunkie has everything you'll need for a relaxing getaway. Guests have full access to as much firewood as needed, as well as any other additional items such as: extra linens, cookware, and spices, etc. If you need anything not provided, we would be happy to bring to you from the house. Inside the bunkie is year round running water for cooking/cleaning, and fresh drinking water sourced from a natural local spring in Elmvale. The outside composting toilet is year round, and the outdoor propane heated shower is seasonal, disconnected end of November- April (approximately). *Please note that guests must be comfortable with dogs. We have 3 very friendly indoor/outdoor farm dogs who love meeting guests. The property is gated (two driveways) and completely fenced in for your security. *If you want a real treat like nothing you’ve seen before, ask us for the “Total Goat Experience”.*
