Super comfortable bed, pull-out drawers under bed, adequate shelving, desk, mini fridge if reqd; breakfast if reqd, constant hot water for lovely hot bath (please note: no shower), relax at the piano, or spend time in the gardens. This is a family home, not a hotel! We have been welcoming people for many years & prefer to keep it relaxed and harmonious. Absolutely no drinking alcohol in the room/house please. The space Super handy if your workplace is across the road at Nova Park (J2, M80). 5-10 minute walk. Car: Easily accessible to the M80 motorway to Stirling (30 minutes) and The North; Inverness 3 hrs, M9 to Edinburgh (50 minutes) and to Glasgow city centre M8 (15 minutes); Gleneagles 40 mins, St Andrews 1hr 25m both for golfing, 45 mins Ayr racecourse & coast/beach. Train: Robroyston train station 10-15 min walk to house from station. Currently costs around £3.60 return. Takes 11 minutes to city centre. Best Bus: Craig’s of Cumbernauld buses, number 72 from Buchanan Street bus station, Glasgow city centre. Takes half an hour to Asda Robroyston. We are across the road from Asda. FirstBus numbers 57a to Wallacewell Road (15 minute walk to house), 19a hourly service (only on Sundays) drops you off at Asda Robroyston (5 min walk to house), also number 8 to Asda Robroyston then 5 minute walk to house. Please feel free to write to FirstBus and ask for more bus options to Asda Robroyston, seeing as there are houses going up here all the time and the area is expanding massively! However, best option is to get the 72 bus with the company called Craig’s of Cumbernauld from Buchanan Street Bus Station to Asda Robroyston (last bus 6.30pm) which takes half an hour. Uber taxi will take approx 20 minutes to/from town and is worth the money if you have heavy luggage and just want to get to where you are going quickly. TV, piano, acoustic guitars,vinyl, board games. During your stay I work shifts as I am a nurse and live here with my son. The house is peaceful and you are welcome to relax in the living spaces downstairs anytime. My son works between home and office. Other things to note Our cat Zima can come and go as she pleases but please do not give in to her appealing “I’ve not been fed for a week” look or let her in your bedrooms!
