This ancient residence has been renovated with particular attention to environmental sustainability and in accordance with Sardinian tradition. Located in the center of Isili, it allows you to move easily in the heart of Sardinia and appreciate the local food and wine delights and carry out various hiking/archaeological and sports activities. The space You enter from the characteristic portal to the loggia in which there are: the woodshed, the barrels, the large barbecue and a box that serves as a storage room for tools, you proceed seamlessly in the courtyard, paved with local stone, surrounded almost entirely by the grape pergola, two flower beds, used as a small garden, also on the occasion of the annual Ortus and Artis event welcomes people who visit the ancient home. At the end of the courtyard, the housing unit begins, consisting of the living area on the ground floor, the sleeping area on the first floor, and the attic, which is not accessible. The first room is what we can consider the living room, you pass an architraved passage and you enter the kitchen, continuing on the right is the bathroom and the bathroom. To access the sleeping area, you go up a wooden staircase at the end of which, on the left, we find the first bedroom with a double bed. Continuing, we find another room (open space) similar to the study but equipped with two single beds. Finally, the second bedroom with an antique double bed of one and a half squares, generally used as a room and therefore, unless there are special agreements, it is not usable. Guest access The accessible spaces are, except for the attic (for safety reasons), all, some cabinets or structures are locked for logistical or safety reasons. Please note that due to the presence of wooden floors and load-bearing structures in the building, smoking is absolutely prohibited inside the house, and the use of the internal fireplace and wood-burning stove is currently not permitted. For obvious safety reasons, it is not allowed to completely open the large portal and/or bring cars or other motorized devices into the courtyard. Other things to note The large courtyard, thanks to the presence of the high walls, represents a space in complete privacy, equipped with a table, chairs and deckchairs, offers an extraordinary space for relaxation and for the consumption of meals, both during the day thanks to the shade and at night in which you can enjoy the noises and scents coming from the surrounding woods. Given the policy of environmental sustainability, in the house there has been extensive use of eco-friendly materials, both during renovation and for normal domestic activities, giving priority to materials such as glass and ceramics and banning disposable ones. The water from the mains is drinkable. In Isili, you can take advantage of the large outdoor swimming pool, every day from 10 am to 7 pm and practice various water sports in the lake of the town by renting: canoes, pedal boats or the suggestive Dragon Boat. On the occasion of a well-known event of an eno/gastronomic, historical and craft nature held every year in September, the property was included by the municipality in the sites of particular interest that can be visited.
