Spend your vacation in our newly furnished apartment a few minutes' walk from the lake. In our bright old building apartment in the popular Lindau district of Bad Schachen, you will also find comfortable space with several children. Child-friendly and rich amenities for a pleasant stay. Centrally located with city bus connection, train stop, REWE and restaurants are very close. The space Our apartment is furnished with attention to detail. We want you to feel comfortable with us and spend relaxing days on beautiful Lake Constance. Our apartment is 70 square meters and has a large open living room with kitchen, a separate large bedroom with double bed (180 cm) and bunk bed (80 cm), a spacious bathroom with shower tub and a storage room. The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 5 people. The bedroom has space for 1 extra baby cot (free) and/or an extra guest mattress if you want to accommodate 3 children in the bedroom. The kitchen is new and equipped with everything you could possibly need (dishwasher, stove with induction, fridge-freezer, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and blender.) There are plenty of dishes, glasses and cookware, so you can cook more elaborately. For entertainment, there is of course TV, radio, games, toys, books and magazines. Due to the high ceilings, thick walls and a ceiling fan, the apartment is pleasantly cool in summer. In front of the front door we have set up a small seating area for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. In addition to towels (1 large, 1 small) and bed linens, cleaning utensils, toilet paper, soap, basic kitchen equipment such as spices, oil, sugar, detergent, dishwasher tabs and dishcloths are always included. If you're traveling with kids, the car is quickly full. For this reason, we have provided some helpful utensils in the apartment for you to use free of charge. For example, a travel cot, high chair, a parasol for the beach, cooler bag, sand toys, soccer, etc. So that you can walk to the lake with a bag and pack, the apartment also has a foldable cart. Guest access The apartment is in the basement of an old building. You have your own entrance with a small outdoor seating area. From the upper street, you go down a staircase to the apartment and then up a staircase to the entrance again. With us, you can easily arrive and depart 24/7. Thanks to the existing key box, a late arrival is also possible without any problems. The key box is located in the entrance area. There you can pick it up on the day of arrival from 3:00 pm and put it back in after check-out on departure. You will receive the code from me by email before arrival. Other things to note CHILDREN: Please note: Children up to and including 3 years are free of charge with us and do not have to be specified as an extra person when booking and therefore do not have to be paid for. CITY TAX and GUEST CARD The tourist tax will be charged separately and paid to the city. In Lindau, the tourist tax for people aged 16 and over is €3.30. From 6 years it is €2.00 (per person/per night) Children under 6 years are exempt from the tourist tax. You can then transfer the tourist tax to me via PayPal or leave it in cash in the apartment upon departure. This also gives you a guest card (Echt Bodensee Card), which includes some perks such as free use of buses and trains in the b-o-d-o area. CANCELLATION My cancellation policy is now moderately strict due to increased cancellations. This means free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. After that, 50% of the cost. If I can rent the apartment again at short notice after your cancellation, for which the costs would be incurred, I will refund you the cancellation costs.
