It is a standalone unit, so there are no other guests. You’ll have access to a south-facing terrace with views of the surrounding area and a lush lawn. You’ll find private parking next to the cottage, tucked away in a wooded garden on a large private property. The well-equipped kitchenette features an electric stove (not suitable for cooking spicy or greasy dishes without ventilation), an oven with a microwave, and a refrigerator, allowing you to prepare meals after your daily adventures. You can enjoy your home-cooked meals at the table in the small private living room or on the outdoor terrace. In the kitchen, you’ll find dishes for 4 people as well as various cooking and seasoning utensils. So you don’t have to “carry unnecessary baggage with you,” kitchen towels are already provided and included in the price. In your vacation oasis, on the first floor, accessible via a staircase, you’ll find a 180x200cm double bed and a desk for planning your excursions or answering mail. Wi-Fi is available. Bedding and bath towels are included in the base price, and with pillows and a duvet provided, you’ll enjoy peaceful nights in complete relaxation. The bathroom is located on the first floor and features a sink, a freestanding bathtub, and a toilet. If you have an electric car and wish to charge it: The only option is an outdoor 230V outlet. Charges will be billed on-site. The price per kWh is CHF 0.90 Guest access Accessible year-round by car via the A12 highway; take the Matran or Rossens exit and follow signs to the village of Ecuvillens, south of Fribourg. The main nearby towns are 6 minutes from downtown Fribourg, 20 minutes from Bern, 20 minutes from Bulle-Gruyère, and 30 minutes from Montreux. Two vintage mountain bikes are available for exploring the surrounding area. (26-inch wheels) Beautiful walks along the Sarine River and through the forest can be enjoyed right from the doorstep; maps are also provided. Also accessible by plane from the Ecuvillens airfield, a 5-minute walk away. During your stay, you can go on excursions as a passenger in classic cars (Ferrari 308 GTS Magnum, 1-seater; Jeep Wrangler Jurassic Park, 3-seater; Porsche 924S, “The Slow and the Brave,” 3-seater) and participate in classic car meetups (from May to October, weather permitting).
