Spotted Gum Studio

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The view from the cottage towards the bush and coastline is just serene. Stretch out your yoga mat or sit at the bar on the lovely verandah to enjoy a coffee or wine. World class rainforests and beaches are only a short drive away. You will leave feeling relaxed and replenished. We are only twenty minutes from famous Burleigh Heads beach. In six minutes you can reach Mudgeeraba village with an array of great restaurants, cafes and bars. The space The studio opens out onto a lovely verandah with a view to the trees and North Burleigh Beach in the distance. The studio is open and inviting with double glass doors and windows from which to gaze out at the view and trees. The kitchenette is beautifully finished with terrazzo bench top and travertine tiles. It is equipped with a toaster, kettle, nespresso pod coffee machine and a combination microwave/oven/grill/ air fryer. The bright and airy ensuite is newly renovated with brass fixtures and a lovely view to the trees beyond. There is storage for your luggage and clothing in a tall cupboard. The bed is a dreamy, plush queen size koala brand sofa bed. Don’t fear it being a sofa bed as all of our guests say how comfortable it is and they would never have expected it to be a sofa bed. We add an extra pillow top layer to it to make sure your sleep is well cushioned. We provide a small breakfast selection to get you started of: muesli and cow’s milk; bread, nuttelex butter, strawberry jam, and honey; tea and coffee pods. If you require almond, oat or soy milk, please give us two days notice and we can provide this instead of cow’s milk. The studio is for a maximum of two guests only. Guest access The studio cottage is located on a two acre property. The studio is next to our house. Whilst we ensure your privacy, you will hear regular family noise. We also have a non-shedding dog on the property, she does not enter the cottage. Other things to note We do not have good wifi from the house to the studio cottage. You will get a strong signal on your own device or phone. We do not provide a tv. Just relax and enjoy the surrounds instead.
