Steal away to this cozy modern residence just minutes from Shenandoah National Park. Nestled on 5 acres in Greene County Virginia, this peaceful spot is quiet and convenient. Removed from the hustle and bustle, but still centrally located, you’re just 20 minutes from Charlottesville, 15 minutes from SNP, 10 minutes from vineyards and CHO, and only 5 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. Enjoy coffee on the back porch or take a hike on our private wooded walking trail. Fresh eggs daily! The space The house is 1500 square feet on a five acre property, with a one acre yard. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms (both equipped with a shower, one with a tub). The house is a ranch-style, so besides the two steps onto the front porch, it's all one level and easy to navigate. Situated in the yard is a beautiful chicken coop which houses our laying hens for guests to visit and collect eggs from. The property is secluded and saved for guests only (we live off-property), but the house is also conveniently located near local restaurants and grocery stores (just a 5 minute drive to Walmart, Food Lion and others). Guest access Our home is a ranch-style single-level layout. There are just two steps on the front porch to enter the property. Guests have full access to the main level which includes all three of the bedrooms, both full bathrooms and living spaces. We keep the basement locked. The yard is one full acre of green grass surrounded by four more acres of woods. We’ve created a walking trail around the property, and the patios are a peaceful place to start and end your day. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and entertain including a keurig and coffee pot. Other things to note The house is an open gathering space with a cozy feel. It’s a great place for family get-togethers, bachelorette weekends, small groups of friends, families of all ages, those hiking and exploring Shenandoah National park, wedding parties, and everyone in between. We’re a convenient drive from Charlottesville and the University of Virginia, but removed enough from the hustle and bustle of the city to help you unwind among the Virginia wine trail and blue ridge. A great place to stay for concerts and events at John Paul Jones Arena (JPJ), we're just a quick shot down highway 29 to all of Charlottesville's hottest events.
