Less than 15 miles to Elk Mountain, the size of this home allows you to ski AND live comfortably with your friends. As autumn vibrantly paints the landscape, we offer a quiet, cozy retreat with large porches and windows to view the incredible fall foliage, as you take in the beautiful reflections on the lake. Three gas fireplaces provide a cozy atmosphere on cool evenings, and the fully-equipped kitchen allows you to whip up hearty, soul-warming meals. Whether you're planning winter ski trips or simply seeking a peaceful retreat to watch the snowfall, this cottage has everything you need for a memorable stay. Whether you're taking advantage of remote work opportunities or simply staying connected, you'll find everything you need here. Guest access The entire property will be yours for your stay. Other things to note Relax with 5 smart TVs, Sonos audio system, WIFI which extends throughout the entire property, a large kitchen with all the amenities, as well as a butler’s kitchen with an additional full size refrigerator/freezer, sink, counters and pantry space. Plenty of seating in the dining room, around the kitchen island and outside on the porch. Main floor bedroom #1: king bed with ensuite bathroom. Upstairs bedroom #2: queen size bed and built in bunks Upstairs room #3: queen size bed, built in bunks, and a day bed Upstairs bedroom #4: two full size beds Upstairs bedroom #5: queen size bed and a day bed (with trundle) and an ensuite bathroom 4.5 bathrooms In case you need a midnight snack, the upstairs den offers a full mini kitchen with a microwave, wet bar and fridge, along with its own balcony overlooking the lake. This den is also host to a gas fireplace. For those needing to work, there is plenty of space to tuck away and a dedicated work space with a desk on the first floor. We provide all linens and towels (including beach towels). THE OUTDOORS: We welcome you to 5,000 square feet of space, with 150 feet of your own lake frontage, all on a lake front double lot with manicured grounds and three tiers of parking. With an easily obtainable license, there is fishing off the dock or have fun fishing from your kayak. The lake is generously stocked with bass, pickerel, catfish, perch and sunfish. If outdoor dining is more your style, enjoy dinner on the wrap-around covered porch with breathtaking views of the lake. With a Viking gas grill, cooking is made easy - and for dessert, gather around the large fire-pit to roast marshmallows or enjoy an after-dinner drink. Our woodshed is stocked with cured firewood. The Fall foliage is spectacular, and you will have plenty of space for outdoor fun with the family. Next to the main house is an adorable “treehouse” (or what neighbors fondly refer to as our guest house) complete with a loft space. We also look forward to hosting skiers and anyone looking to enjoy the wintry fun of Elk Mountain, located 15 miles away.
