Enjoy this unique, one of a kind, 1920s renovated church located in the quiet small town of Cameron, two big parks within walking distance, along with the best Stone oven pizza, coffee shop, bakery, boutique, and many other wonderful places to eat and attractions! Just 10 minutes from Chetek, tourists favorite! This space has so much to offer, whether you’re here for vacation or a work trip. High speed internet and office for those working remotely, very spacious fully equipped kitchen open concept with dining and living room, and yes, those beautiful floors are original! Large laundry room so no worries about needing to go to a laundry-mat, and our favorite… the BELL TOWER! You’ll find it still has the original trim work, railing, door, ceiling, flooring, & stuccoed walls, with just enough renovations to make it fresh but keeping the 1920’s charm! A great place to reset, open the windows, listen to the birds, feel the breeze, with a cup of coffee in one hand, and a book in the other! The main bedroom is right off the living room, with a large walk in closet, and under bed storage also perfect for longer stays! You’ll notice the curvature in the ceiling… you’re at the pulpit, yes, you will be sleeping at the pulpit, you don’t get to say that everyday ;) There’s a spacious bathroom with ample storage, & office with 75” smart tv and large couch, off of the dining room. Everything has a place with labels making it easy to find and put back. As well as instructions, to save you time of trying to figure anything out. Before entering the bell tower, you will find French doors, Beyond those is NOT access for you, but for emergency exit only. Our section is on the other side with a security camera recording. There will be some yard chairs in the entrance for you to use outside while enjoying the campfire, cooking out, or s’mores…Whether you’re here for 2 nights or 2 weeks, we want this to be the most peaceful, relaxing, & resetting space for you! With us living just below, we will be available if you’d like assistance with anything, or to just get to know your hosts better! We’d love to meet you and share the story of this place! This is in a nice quiet neighborhood on the corner of a dead-end street. You may find people walking their dogs, tending to their lawns, or the historic pillar house across you being restored back to it’s original glory! You may also run into us at some point of your stay, in the first entrance that is shared, or the yard that we do our best to keep it looking ship shape! When arriving you will see vehicles in your driveway to the left of you, it’s just us, your hosts! The right side (next to the church) is strictly yours and yours only! After typing in the code you received for entry, You’ll find 2 staircases, one lower, one higher, we are the lower. You’re beautiful space is awaiting you through the door at the top of the stairs, with your separate code for entry! We hope you enjoy the space as much as we did for almost 3 years!
