Swim, kayak, explore the island, or just relax on the porch with your favorite drink. You will find this quiet get-a-way home has everything you need. The space Enjoy your morning coffee and stunning sunsets on the deck overlooking Lake Warren. A private lake front setting with cozy places to curl up with a book. The Sun Room is an open living room with large windows overlooking the lake and sliding doors that lead to the front porch. The Living Room includes two cozy loveseats in front of a stone fireplace mantle with an electric insert. The Dining Room sits adjacent to the Living Room, ready for your favorite feast. The Kitchen has modern appliances, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, staple items (like salt pepper, oil, sugar), and a fun set of cookbooks. One Bed Room has a queen bed and the other two twins. All beds have Ghost mattresses, pillows, and sheets. The Bath Room has all the conveniences of home including a tiled walk-in shower. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house, the yard, the lake, as well as kayaks and canoes. Lake Warren is about 190 acres and contains many coves and an island to explore. The beach front is shallow making it kid friendly. Other things to note Cell Service/Internet Cell service may be spotty. There is a booster for Verizon in the house to improve service. The internet is provided and is reliable except in severe weather. Decks and Porches Please do not climb on any of the railings on any of the decks or porches. Fireplace There is a stone fireplace mantle with a small electric insert that provides a sense of a fire. This is not a working wood fireplace. Basement We store our cleaning supplies and such in the basement of this house. This area is kept locked and not for guests. Lake Warren / Boats Lake Warren is a shallow manmade lake. It has a public boat access and island that is available to explore. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lake equipment if they choose. However, due to the shallow waters, Lake Warren does not allow jet skis. There is a dock at The Lake House and the owner keeps his boat there during the summer (guests do not have access to this boat). Wildlife There is a lot of nature to enjoy at The Lake House. Loons, ducks, geese, beaver, otter, deer, fox, turkeys and more may visit the yard or lake front on your visit. Garbage During your stay and when you check out, put your filled garbage bags into the large outdoor trash can. In Door Furniture & Pillows Furniture and pillows found in the house must remain in the house. If you bring any furniture or pillows outside and the item is damaged you will be charged the replacement value. Keys The Lake House has a key pad for entry. There is also a lockbox in the event the key pad battery dies during your stay. Do not take the lockbox keys off the property. If a key is lost during your stay you will be charged $50. Owners Boat The property owner keeps his boat at the dock during the summer. Please do not enter or attempt to use this boat. Kitchen Please let us know upon your departure if you have gone through all the cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, etc. It helps us maintain a great experience for the next guest. Grill The grill runs on propane. When you finish using it please remember to turn the propane tank off as well. If you run out of gas, please inform us and we will bring you a replacement tank as soon as possible. The grill is kept on the lawn. Please do not bring it onto any of the porches or inside the house. Checkout Checkout is at 11AM. Late checkouts are not permissible. For each hour you remain on the property after the 11AM checkout time you will be charged $25. Feel free to pile used towels and linens on the floor so they can be easily identified and picked up. Please remember to take all of your electronics with you upon checkout. Items Left Behind Please remember to take all of your personal belongings including electronics with you upon checkout. We are not responsible for any items left behind under any circumstances and while we will use best efforts to get them back to you, we offer no promises or guarantees. You will be charged the respective shipping fee for any items left behind in addition to $25 for out time in finding, packaging, and shipping.
