Come swim in the Webb River, hike Tumbledown Mountain, and fall asleep in the cozy Tumbledown Tiny House while listening to the river rush. This unique space is perfect for a couple or small family to enjoy time by the river. Minutes from Tumbledown Mtn, Mt Blue State Park, & the Kawanhee Inn restaurant—this micro house is a must-visit for outdoor lovers looking for a few nights away in Maine. We offer a cozy loft bed, fold down couch, grill, firepit, and kayak with 600 ft on the Webb River. The space The off grid Tumbledown Tiny house is on a secluded, wooded property with over 600 ft of waterfront on the Webb River. The tiny house truly is tiny and super cozy! You’ll sleep on a “short” queen foam mattress (6’ 2” long) in the loft that is accessed by a secure ladder. The loft sleeps two people comfortably. The couch below the loft folds down into a bed the width of a twin but is a bit shorter than standard (5’ 5” long). Right outside the tiny house you’ll find a grill, picnic table, clean outhouse, and area to park your car. Next head down to the waterfront, there you’ll find two adirondack chairs, a fire pit, a secluded swimming spot, and place to take a short kayak. We offer a glamping experience so pack like you are camping but leave your tent at home. We have four pillows but you’ll need to bring pillow cases, sheets, blankets, and beach towels. You won’t find electricity or running water so be sure to pack drinking water. We have a grill and grill utensils but please bring all other cooking equipment. The outhouse includes a composting toilet and toilet paper. Pack your hiking gear and head up the road to Tumbledown Mountain or Mt Blue State Park. If you visit the tiny house between mid-June and Labor Day we highly recommend heading up the road 2 miles to the unique Kawanhee Inn restaurant where you can experience beautiful views of Webb Lake while enjoying a cocktail and an upscale dinner. Guest access Entire property and secluded waterfront is yours! Other things to note You can park next to the tiny house. The driveway area can accommodate two cars. The road is accessible by most vehicles but we do not recommend vehicles that are extremely low to the ground (any normal sedan will be fine). At this time, we do not charge a cleaning fee, instead we ask that you leave the tiny house as you found it. We will share check out instructions before you arrive.
