Our house has 3 pet-free flats. All flats are equipped with TV, WiFi and Nespresso coffee machine. Baby cot and high chair for infants are available on request. Guests can prepare their dinner outside on our garden barbecue, and enjoy it on the covered terrace. In the meantime, children can play in our garden shed. Guests can park their car in the car park 10 m from the house. The space Flat on the upper floor 2 - for max. 6 persons: IIt consists of 2 bedrooms, living room/kitchen, bathroom/WC and hallway. The large bedroom has a double bed of 180 cm, the small bedroom has 2 beds of 90 cm, which can be joined together if required. In addition, the sofa in the living room can accommodate 2 guests on a 140 cm wide sofa bed. The flat has a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, filter coffee machine, toaster, kettle and fridge, bathroom with shower and WC. Other apartments in the house: Ground floor flat - for max. 5 persons: It consists of 2 bedrooms, living room/kitchen, bathroom/WC and hallway. The large bedroom has a double bed of 180 cm, the small bedroom has 2 beds of 90 cm, which can be joined together if required. In addition, the sofa in the living room can accommodate a guest on a 120 cm wide sofa bed. Guest access During the summer season (from 05.04.2025 until 02.11.2025) we give our guests the Karnten Card (and the Erlebnis Card all year round) for FREE for use from the morning of the day of arrival until the evening of the day of departure. Other things to note From spring to autumn: The silence of the mountains, the gentle shores of crystal-clear and warm bathing lakes, magnificent castles and castle ruins, picturesque villages and towns and a wide range of leisure activities await you in the heart of Carinthia from spring to autumn. Lake Wörthersee, Lake Ossiach, Lake Faak, Lake Millstatt and many other warm bathing lakes are a paradise for summer holidays. In addition, the nearby KärntenTherme Warmbad-Villach offers water fun and wellness for the whole family. The magnificent mountain world invites you to go on long hikes with countless hiking trails, and there are also numerous cable cars for easier hikes in summer. The region can also be explored on numerous signposted cycle paths. In and around Bad Bleiberg, more than 10 hiking trails of varying lengths (e.g. the Stollen Hiking Trail) begin or lead through. For car and motorbike lovers, the nearby panoramic roads offer an unforgettable experience. If you want to go further afield, the capital of Carinthia, Klagenfurt, is about 50 km away. Also Slovenia (e.g. Bled 70 km) and Italy (e.g. Tarvisio 30 km, Udine 120 km, but also a bath at the sea is reachable in 2 hours) are easy to reach. Winter holiday For ski lovers there are several ski resorts in the immediate vicinity. The closest is the HRAST ski lift on the other side of the Dobratsch, 10 km away in Feistritz an der Gail. 20-25 minutes drive to Gerlitzen Alps and the Dreiländereck (Arnoldstein), 30 minutes to Tarvisio and about 35 minutes to Nassfeld. This is one of the largest ski areas in Austria with 110 km of snow-sure slopes and offers the best opportunities for beginners and professionals. A free bus runs daily from Bad Bleiberg to Nassfeld. Those who don't ski can enjoy hiking, cross-country skiing or sleighing in the Dobratsch Nature Park or on the slopes of the nearby Hundsmarhof. Away from the ski slopes, the Dobratsch Nature Park has a network of 15 kilometres of winter hiking trails that can be walked with hiking boots or snowshoes. There is also a cross-country ski trail in Bad Bleiberg, a slope for sledging on the village hill and a floodlit ice-skating rink. After (or instead of) sports, our guests can enjoy the warmth of the town of Villach at the Drava. Wellness lovers will get their money's worth at the year-round adventure pool KärntenTherme in Warmbad-Villach. Children's adventure pool, super cool tube and panorama slides, as well as the "Crazy River" and an interactive water world await guests. Every year in November, the Advent market opens in Villach. The traditional part of the market is a circle with wooden stalls around the main parish church, the Villach Nasch-Advent takes place on the main square and the Villach Art-Advent in the park of the Parkhotel. The popular ice skating rink in front of the town hall opens every year at the end of November. Another winter highlight is the Villach Fasching - with its fun programme and Fasching Saturday as the highlight!
