The living room has comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and large windows that showcase the mountain views. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, including a full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and has a large table that seats six. The cabin has two bedrooms -- 1 on each level -- both with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. Each master bedroom has a King-sized bed. The bedroom upstairs has a connected full bathroom and also a relaxing jacuzzi tub, as well as a fireplace in the room! The upstairs loft area also comes equipped with a First Tee arcade-style game for hours of fun as well as additional seating and a Smart TV -- the perfect spot to binge your favorite Netflix show or the big game! Outside, you'll love spending time on the deck enjoying the fresh mountain air. There is plenty of seating to relax in the morning with a cup of coffee or unwind in the evening with a glass of wine. A BBQ grill is also available to take advantage of a cookout while taking in the beautiful views! Sherwood Forest is a gated community resort has well maintained, paved and curbed roads with good access year-round for standard, mountain driving. It offers a community swimming pool in season, with free Wi-Fi and parking. The resort offers a secluded and peaceful refuge in a tranquil and largely upscale mountain subdivision. It's a great place to come home to or just stay in, with easy access to all of the area's attractions, including Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The views from Sherwood Forest's ridge-top setting are truly remarkable, and most cabins offer a sense of privacy on the back deck in the hot tub, gazing at the mountains. Sherwood Forest is located on the west side of Pigeon Forge and at the south end, with a few minutes driving to get to Parkway and the Little Pigeon River, with most of the attractions and Dollywood a few minutes up the road to the north. It's easy to turn south and take the Spur (which connects the two Parkways of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg), a few minutes extra into Gatlinburg, and from there into the national park. Sherwood Forest is less than 2 miles from Parkway in Pigeon Forge, about 7 miles to downtown Gatlinburg, and about 11 miles from the entrance to the national park. For as close as it is to all the action, the resort is noted for its feeling of being away from it all, and with some stunning views. There are parking spaces located directly in front of the cabin. Please be considerate of community space, the driveway, and the adjacent cabins. ✹ Easy self-check-in is available via the keypad on the front door - a personalized code will be sent to you before check-in. ✹ The fireplace is unavailable from April 1 to October 1 (standard for cabins in the area). ✹ We provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soaps/shampoos, and detergent. If you have a large group or are staying for an extended period, you may need to purchase (or bring) additional items. ✹ We are unable to provide refunds due to snow, ice, inclement weather conditions, or acts of God. 4WD is suggested during winter travel and travel insurance is also offered.
