Bring the whole family to this beautiful River House with lots of room for fun + outdoor activities. The home is cozy and warm with view of the river. We've added board games, toys for your littles, and Smart TVs for movie nights. Outside you'll find a hot tub facing the river, a BREEO smoke-less firepit for campfire nights, and a propane grill. Located directly across from the Pequea Boat dock with a boat launch and fishing pier- bring your kayaks, tubes, and fishing lines for endless fun. The space We think the location of this home is what really shines. Located along the Susquehanna River, just across from the Pequea boat launch- you'll be a two minute walk from the fishing pier, and great place to launch kayaks or paddle boards into the river. Additionally, you'll be surrounded by lots of hiking options. Our personal favorite is the Pinnacle Overlook, which is just a 10 minute drive and offers some of the best sunset views in all of Lancaster County. When you enter the home, you will find the kitchen with an open floor plan to the dining room and living room. The kitchen as well stocked with everything you will need during your stay. There is a drip coffee maker and a Keurig lots of pots and pans and baking supplies, etc. We supply cooking oil, but Bring your own spices and coffee. The dining room table is quite large and perfect for playing board and card games which can be found in the console cabinet just around the corner. There is also books and toys for your little ones. The living room features a super plush and comfy couch with a smart TV so you can log into any of your apps to watch your favorite shows and movies. You also have a great view of the river from the sofa. Please note: We do not provide a subscription to live TV channels but you have the ability to log into Amazon, YouTube TV, or Sling and use your own subscriptions. Just outside the living room and dining room you'll find the wraparound front porch with plenty of chairs and a porch swing (all with a view of the river). We think this is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee as you watch the fog lift from the river in the morning or a glass of wine + a beautiful sunset over the river in the evening. To the side of the home, you'll find a beautiful, updated outdoor space. As mentioned previously, there is a Breeo smokeless, fire pit, hot tub, and outdoor dining space. The second floor hosts a total of three bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom has a king bed and en suite bath, with a tile, walk-in shower and double vanity. The remaining two bedrooms are a king a queen and across the hall from the second bathroom with a double bowl vanity and tub/shower combo. We provide a pack and play in the front left bedroom closet for those traveling with infants. The third floor is a loft style bedroom with two full beds and a sofa/TV area. This is a great option for the older children or teens in your group. PLEASE NOTE: There is a train track that runs occasionally on the other side of the road. As an added amenity we have included Dohm Sound machines to each bedroom. The driveway is a bit steep but very accessible in the spring, summer, and fall; in the winter a 4WD vehicle is going to be best in the event of snow. LOCATION: The home is approximately 30 minutes from downtown Lancaster where you’ll find endless amounts of incredible food and drink options. You’ll also be 30 minutes from Amish Country and lots of incredible attractions such as Dutch Wonderland, Sight and Sound Theatre, Tanger Outlets (if a day of retail therapy is calling your name), Kitchen Kettle Village and much more. 

Even closer you’ll find lots of adventure filled activities- some of our top recommendations are tubing at Sickman’s Mill, a paintball tag game at Ambush Airsoft + Paintball, or some time surrounded by nature at Shenk’s Ferry Wildflower Preserve.

Because of the size of the home and in order to be able to host our guests with allergies this is non-negotiable no matter the size or whether your pet is classified as hypo-allergenic. NO exceptions. PLEASE NOTE: If there is an unauthorized pet in the home your reservation will be terminated immediately. 2. No Smoking. No exceptions- this includes vaping. 3. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours for the property are between 10PM and 8AM; please keep the noise down over this time- especially outdoors. **Specific amenities we provide to get you started.** -Linens for each bed
