The bus (green) departs opposite the train station and is free. 🚌 Stop: "Kirchbrücke". From there it is about 5 minutes' walk to the apartment. 🚶‍♂️ Alternatively, you can take a taxi. 🚖 It will take you 5 minutes. You can walk to the apartment in about 10 minutes. 🚌 BUS: The buses are free of charge. The nearest stop is just 200 meters from the apartment. ⛷️ SKI LIFTS: Short walk to the ski lifts: Sunnegga: 800 meters (10 minutes) Klein Matterhorn-Zermatt cable cars: 850 m (9 min) Gornergrat: 900 meters (10 minutes) Ski bus: 200 m (3 min) – even faster by bus 😊 Ski rental: Nearby you can rent ski and hiking equipment: Matterhorn Sport or Slalom Sport. 🏠 STUDIO/APARTMENT: The studio is in the heart of the village, in the Steinmatte district. Close to all shops, mountain railways and the train station. Numerous restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores are within 5 minutes walking distance. Shops: open 365 days a year until 6 pm. Supermarkets: open until 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. 📍 Studio 16: The studio is located on the 3rd floor. An elevator is available. ⬆️ To the right of the door you will find a key safe where your key is stored. 🔑 The code will be communicated to you a few days before your arrival via the Airbnb platform. 🎒 BAGGAGE: You can 🗄️ store your luggage in the small private hallway in front of your apartment or in the ski cellar – before check-in and after check-out! 😊 ♻️ WASTE: The recycling station is located 20 meters to the left of the main entrance. Here you can dispose of paper, cardboard, bottles, cans and food waste. Please recycle as much as possible! Let's🌍 protect our environment! ♻️ Since we organize the garbage disposal ourselves, we provide 1 garbage bag per week❗️ If you need more, you can buy additional orange garbage bags in the surrounding shops❗️ Thank you for understanding! 🙏🏻 Guest access Living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, and a large balcony. The main entrance/House Olympia is closed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM❗️ You can unlock the door using the code. ENTRY CODE: A few days before your arrival, the code will be sent to you via the Airbnb platform. Laundry Service Upon Request 😊 We offer a laundry service. You can give us your clothes in a bag, and we will return them within 24 hours. Prices are displayed on the wall in the studio. PROVIDED: - Bed linen and towels - Hairdryer: The hair dryer is for hair drying only. If it is damaged due to drying clothes or other improper use, a 25 CHF fee will be charged. - EU-Swiss adapters LUGGAGE You can store your luggage in the ski cellar or outside your apartment door before and after your arrival. SKI Skis and ski boots must be stored in the ski cellar❗️ It is located on the basement level (-1). Other things to note MANDATORY TOURIST TAX In Zermatt, the tourist tax is 4 CHF per person per night. Children aged 9 to 16 pay 2 CHF per night. This must be paid directly on-site, either in cash or by card. The tourist tax applies to all types of accommodations and is 4.00 Swiss Francs per night. It must be paid before check-in❗️ LUGGAGE You can store your luggage in the ski room or outside your studio door before and after your arrival. SKIS Skis and ski boots must be stored in the ski room❗️ SMOKING Smoking in the living area is strictly prohibited❗️ All apartments are equipped with smoke detectors. A fine will be imposed for smoking! ADDITIONAL GUESTS For each additional guest, the fee is 30 CHF per night per person. BREAKFAST Breakfast is not provided. However, there is a bakery 50 meters away offering fresh pastries daily. CAR As you may know, Zermatt is car-free❗️ Entry is only allowed with special permission from the cantonal police. You should park your car in Täsch (the easiest option is at the train station, costing 16 CHF/day) and take the train to Zermatt. Trains run every 17 minutes.
