Long Barn, peaceful rural escape

Spacious and contemporary, Long Barn sleeps five in two bedrooms, making it perfect for breaks with family or friends. Inside you’ll find a large open plan kitchen and living area with a cosy gas-fired ‘log burner’, a fully kitted out kitchen/diner and a newly refurbished bathroom with a bath and shower over. With one double & one triple room, Long Barn offers flexible accommodation. Outside you can while away sunny days and evenings on your patio with views over the shared walled garden. The space One of five characterful cottages converted from 18C farm buildings, in a peaceful courtyard setting. Tastefully furnished rooms blend traditional and modern. Light and airy in the summer, and cosy in cooler weather, Long Barn is a great base for exploring the area. Long Barn has a private enclosed garden at the back, with a picnic table. From your own private furnished front patio you can step out into the cottage garden (shared with other guests) and, in warmer weather, relax in hammock chairs or the outdoor seating. On summer evenings, take in the scent of lavender, jasmine and honeysuckle or light the firepit and, on a clear night, enjoy the starry skies. For stargazing enthusiasts, we have a telescope and binoculars available on request. Please note that pets other than dogs are not allowed in Long Barn. We accept a maximum of two small to medium sized dogs, as long as they are house trained and under control at all times.
