Make unforgettable memories at Darling Daisy’s Retro Retreat! This one-of-a-kind retro camper sleeps 4 and offers a playful glamping experience in our 2017 Riverside Retro trailer, inspired by classic teardrop and canned-ham campers of the 1930s–60s. Tucked into a lush East County hillside, Daisy blends vintage vibes with modern comforts for a truly unique stay. The space Darling Daisy Retro Retreat has everything you need to enjoy a super fun San Diego vacation. Darling Daisy is a spacious vintage style trailer, with approximately 250 square feet of living space. The bedroom has an ultra comfortable Queen bed that sleeps two and we have provided a smart Roku TV in this room where you can also snuggle up and enjoy watching a bunch of streaming channels. The trailer has tons of storage. Please note that the height of the RV inside is 6'4" tall so if you are a very tall person, you may not fit very well. Darling Daisy is the red trailer and resides next to our other vacation rental trailer Bettie. There may be guests staying in Bettie during your stay, so please be careful only to use your designated parking spot and yard area to prevent disturbing other guests who are in close proximity. When checking into the RV please be mindful of noise and be respectful of other guests in close proximity. The common area consists of a super cool vintage style booth where the whole family can enjoy a meal! We have a small stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster oven and sink. The trailer does not have a traditional oven. The kitchen is stocked with a pod style coffee maker, tea and coffee, and basic kitchen needs like cups, plates, bath towels, wine opener, cooking utensils, pots and pans and silverware. The trailer is set up to create a small meal but we hope you try out all the amazing restaurants surrounding the area instead! We even have a washer and dryer available for use close by the RV!! For stays 28 days and over, the cleaning fee will be doubled. Daisy is also equipped with two comfy twin bunk beds and a bathroom with a SMALL shower. Miss Daisy is cooled by a ceiling AC unit and heated with a furnace. For entertainment we have a Roku Smart TV in the living room and master bedroom as well as a built in stereo and bluetooth speaker. We provide all bed linens and bath towels. The RV is located off of a quiet street with quick freeway access. Ample parking is available just outside the gate of the property, only steps away from the RV. We do allow one dog, but please note that dogs are not allowed to be left alone in the trailer at any time. El Cajon can get very hot and although the AC will cool the trailer down, if it were to break, the trailer would heat up like a hot car and we wouldn't want anything to happen to your fur baby! As your hosts, we strive to provide everything you need for a wonderful stay. We want you to have as much fun in San Diego as we do! Parking is easy right outside the gate. Your area is the gated area directly around the trailer. Please note that El Cajon can get very hot in the summer months. Guests who are staying more than 5 days will be responsible for providing themselves with any additional products such as coffee, paper towels, and trash bags. There are local grocery stores nearby where you can purchase what you may need. Note: The hosts will provide you with RV toilet paper throughout your stay. Guests may use the outdoor area located directly outside their RV or tiny home but cannot use the outdoor areas belonging to the private residence.
