The Cozy Cottage w/ hot tub! 35min to downtown RVA

Cozy, safe, and relaxing home. We have a great set up for a couples getaway or the whole family! Fire pit, hot tub (year round) close to Kings Dominion, and 30 mins from downtown RVA. Less than 1 mile from Ashland Berry Farm 4.5 miles to Kings Dominion 8 miles to downtown Ashland 15 minutes off 95 6 minutes off route 1 35 mins to downtown Richmond The cottage is an older home and does not have central heat/AC. We have multiple AC units and for heat there's electric baseboard heaters, a couple wall units, and cool to the touch space heaters to use wherever you'd like. All units are brand new. Woodstove is no longer operating There are several sleeping areas- A master bedroom with a queen sized Tempurpedic mattress, second bedroom has 2 twin beds, downstairs living area has a couch that converts into a queen bed. Home is dog friendly, for an extra fee of $50 per dog up to two dogs. Extra pets on approval and for an extra fee to be considered. Pet fee covers cost of extra cleaning and does not cover any damages by your pet. When dog is not in the cottage or in the fenced yard please keep on a leash. We do ask that pets are never left unattended in the house or yard unless safely crated. This is for the safety of both your pet and the property. Please be aware this is a pet friendly rental. While we do a thorough cleaning after each guest, we cannot guarantee the removal of every single hair from the entire property, so if you have any pet allergies, please keep this in mind. We welcome you to our charming cottage in the heart of the woods. While we take every measure to ensure a bug-free environment, it's important to note that in a natural setting like this, you might occasionally come across small insects like spiders, ants, or ladybugs. We conduct regular pest maintenance with pet and kid safe products to keep the cottage comfortable and bug-free as possible. We recommend keeping doors and windows shut, so it will be more difficult for them to get inside. We are unable to offer any guarantee against or refunds for an occasional bug in the house #countrylife Guest access Guest has full private access to the entire house and private back yard Other things to note As noted we live on the property and also offer a RV Campsite rental. Every property is fully private to the renters own use and each spot has its own parking area. Our driveway is almost 1/2 mile long 1 way in and 1 way out. Although it hasn't happened just yet please be aware it is possible to meet someone in the driveway.
