Please note that Casa Chamisa is a unique adult-friendly quiet sanctuary that is not suitable for children or pets and all guests and visitors are required to be registered by adding their names to the AirBnB reservation. By booking this home, you and your registered guests are agreeing to the House Rules which includes a maximum # of guests allowed (4). Guests are strictly not permitted to invite non-guests onto the property without prior permission of host. A fee of $150 per night for each non-registered guest may be charged and the reservation may be cancelled without refund if this rule is broken. THE LIVING ROOM is adorned with beautiful Santa Fe style viga ceilings, a traditional Kiva fireplace (decorative only) and original artwork. Enjoy watching TV on the Smart TV via ROKU or log into your Netflix or Amazon account for your favorite shows. THE KITCHEN is in the heart of the home (and our favorite room in the house!) and is fully stocked with an arsenal of kitchen tools, gadgets and appliances that would make any chef proud. With plenty of room to move around, there is a stainless steel center island workstation on wheels, custom built cabinets, gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a large stainless steel French door frig with ice maker and filtered water. DINING ROOM share meals at the large modern live edge wood table. BEDROOMS THE MASTER SUITE can be closed off from the rest of the house for extra privacy and quiet. Enjoy a restful sleep on a new King sized bed with 100% cotton high thread count sheets, down comforter and black out curtains for when you want to sleep in. Two oversized Mexican equipale chairs invite you to relax and unwind in your own private suite. Ensuite master bath with large walk-in shower and double vanity and lots of shelves and storage. Ample closet space and Elfa drawers available to unpack your belongings for longer stays. Connected to the master suite is a private office nook with a small desk and ergonomic desk chair and a built in shelf with tons of games, books and maps for your reading pleasure. THE SECOND BEDROOM features a new King sized luxurious medium firm mattress on a mid century modern style platform bed and 100% cotton high thread count sheets, down comforter and blackout shades. THE SECOND BATHROOM has a full sized tub/shower combo, large cabinet for storage and a Robern vanity mirror featuring LED lighting and defogger. THE SUNROOM also with viga wood ceilings just adjacent to the living room is the perfect light filled cozy sanctuary in which to curl up with a book and/ or take a cat nap on the twin sized Posturepedic daybed. Due to popular demand with guests working remotely, we've added a desk to this room. THE COVERED PORTAL accessed from the back of the house, this private area features a large outdoor dining table and a giant cozy Mexican Equipale sofa and other seating to relax al fresco. An outdoor sink and two ceiling fans create extra convenience and comfort in the summer months. WORKING REMOTELY: many guests have opted for a longer stay while working remotely. In addition to two dedicated workstation areas, we have high speed internet and an Eero Pro mesh Wi Fi system to boost the wifi signal throughout the property. UPS and FedEx come directly to our door daily and a drop off for both is a short few blocks away. BEACH TOWELS are provided if a visit to the local hot springs or lake is in your plans. WATER FILTRATION SYSTEM provides filtered water throughout the entire home. Feel free to drink directly out of the tap! Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, outdoor areas and their own private outdoor portal with the exception of one locked closet. PARKING: There is one dedicated off-street parking in front of the compound. Plus plenty of flat street parking. We don't have parking for boats or trailers - they can be parked on the street in front of the house or on the side street. Other things to note WHEN MAKING YOUR RESERVATION please let us know you've read and agree with the following Rules about Registered Guests. If any of these rules are broken, a fee will be assessed and AirBnB may cancel the reservation without refund. REGISTERED GUESTS Immediately after the reservation is confirmed, we require the name(s), contact information and vehicle (make/model/plate) information of each individual guest staying on the property during the reservation. All guests must be added to the reservation. No exceptions VISITORS & EXTRA GUESTS Guests may not bring any unregistered guests or visitors to the home at any time, for any length of time without prior written permission of the host. Any non registered guest not previously approved by the Host on the property will incur a $150 per person per night fee. SHOES We request that guests remove their shoes upon entering the home Pets on property: Cash, Cooper and Peaches are 3 friendly rescue dogs who live on the property and they are usually inside their respective home or behind a secure fence away from the main home. No other pets are allowed. CHILDREN: Casa Chamisa is a quiet adult-friendly sanctuary that is not suitable for children. SMOKING: Smoking outdoors only is allowed and an ash tray is provided. This includes cannabis use and vaping. Please dispose of all extinguished butts in the trash receptacle. SMOKING or VAPING INSIDE will incur a $1000 charge taken out of the security deposit CIGARETTE BUTTS discarded and found on the ground outside will incur a $100 charge taken out of the security deposit COLOGNE, PERFUME and AIR FRESHENERS: Cologne and perfume products can linger in the house for days after checkout. Please keep our home as fragrance free as possible. An extra cleaning fee may be imposed if steps are required to eliminate strong odors before the next guest arrives. Under no circumstances are minors under 18 allowed to be alone in the home.
