A Cozy Basement; A Great Base Camp for Adventures
Great Skiing as close as 1 hr. away. Chatfield and Roxborough State Parks, Jeffco Open Space just minutes away for great hiking. Only blocks from the 470 bikeway. Red Rocks Amphitheater 21 mins, Downtown Denver 31 mins and Denver International Airport is 43 mins away. Restaurants and groceries are close. You’ll love the coziness and the location. It's good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families or groups. The kitchen makes it affordable for you. Your gateway to adventure! This will be a great home away from home. This is a basement apartment. The full kitchen will give you the option of your own food preparation. The gas grill is available to you as well. The washer and dryer will give you the chance to keep up with laundry. The TV has local channels and you can Chromecast your device if you want to watch movies, etc. The utility room has tons of space for your extra gear. Come through the gate between the house and the shed at the south side of the house. Please be sure to shut gate firmly to keep our dog in. There is a private entrance at the back of the house, a stairwell down. You will have full access to the entire basement, except for a small storage under the stairs. You will be able to use the backyard for outdoor meals or tossing a frisbee. Let us know if there is anything you need. Our neighborhood and street is very quiet and there is not much traffic on our street. We hear some noise from the freeway. We do not have streetlights or sidewalks here. About a mile away (5 minute drive or 30 minute walk) on Kipling are some good restaurants; Texas Roadhouse for steaks, Virgilio's for Italian (the white sangria is awesome!), Carlos Miguel's has great Mexican and Rib City for BBQ. Kipling Pkwy is where you'll find Starbucks and Safeway as well. At first it is sometimes difficult to get to our house, but once you get it, its easy. Just remember that at Carr St., Ute is the name of the street going west and it is Stene going east toward our house. There is not much public transportation close by. The Mineral Lightrail station is 12 minutes away. The lightrail shoots you right into downtown Denver with access to all stadiums and activities. The 470 bikeway leads you to Chatfield State park and east to the South Platte River bikeway which goes all the way into downtown Denver, about 20 miles one-way. Or a nice short trip to Hudson Gardens, about 7 miles one-way on the same path.
