The apartment is located right by the sea in the beautiful sandy bay of Stončica, 7 km from the city of Vis. It is located in the shade of a pine forest in a very quiet and relaxing place, surrounded by nature. It has its own little bridge from which you can jump and refresh yourself in the crystal blue sea. The house can be reached on foot by a stone path, and the distance from the parking lot is about 500m. Before booking, please make sure the place meets your expectations. The space The accommodation is located in a secluded house that offers privacy. Your apartment is downstairs. At the entrance there is a sunny terrace from which stairs lead to the sea. On the terrace there is a covered area with a dining table and deck chairs, and behind the house there is a fireplace and a place to relax in the shade. Upstairs there is another apartment for rent, which is completely separate from yours and has its own entrance, terrace and another access to the sea. The house offers a complete atmosphere (running hot water, dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, internet,...) but due to the remote and isolated location and because the house is not connected to the public water supply, guests need to pay attention to water consumption and be aware of some shortcomings, which they may encounter. The house has its own water tank that can be used for showering and cooking. Water should be saved and drinking water should be brought with you. When using the fireplace and lighting the fire, you should be very careful and constantly present, until the fire is extinguished. We also ask our guests to keep the space tidy and take care of things. The wind can start blowing suddenly and take things away, and it's hard to renovate in such a secluded area. If anything goes wrong, we have to wait patiently for the repair service. Nature is all around, so animals like lizards, wasps, bees, spiders, etc. are part of the habitat here. They stay away from people, but it is recommended to keep food away from them. There are no poisonous animals on the island. Guest access Guests can use the apartment with the surrounding environment and access to the sea. There are several other tourist apartments in the bay and there is a restaurant and beach bar on the beach. It is possible to walk along the stone paths, which lead along the entire bay all the way to the Stončica lighthouse on the other side. Other things to note The house offers a lot of intimacy, especially in the low season. The best time to vacation is when there aren't too many boats and you can enjoy the beauty of the island. In high season, nautical tourism is increased and there are generally more people on the island, but you can still find a special private place just for you. Since the nearest shops are in the town of Vis, it is desirable that guests make a purchase before arrival. We usually welcome guests to the parking lot in Stončica and escort them to the accommodation. We'll send you instructions via WhatsApp before you arrive.
