There are charming gathering rooms, an impressive main hall, and twin dining parlors for your hosted at-H O M E event. Overnight accommodations include a gathering of up to 20 persons. Gatherings of more than 20 will be subject to an additional charge and must be approved prior to booking. All catering is in-house. Our catering menu is available online and by request. Whether you are looking for an intimate stay-cation setting or a place to host your party, reception, or annual gathering event, the Inn at Mt. Ida and Miller Hall has something extra special to offer and will provide you the use of the entire building with no concern over the renting of individual rooms by unrelated individuals or groups. The bedrooms are beautiful and have a richly detailed, boutique-hotel appeal. There is a gorgeous guest kitchen and a private covered porch. You will LOVE the Inn, its setting, and the proximity to the River, the Patapsco State Park, and the short walk to the activities on and off Main Street in Old Ellicott City. The Inn has been entirely renovated with preserved original features that blend well with many modern improvements. The main level features a charming entry foyer and library, an impressive gathering hall, and twin dining parlors. There are four bedrooms on the second level with three full bathrooms, a quaint salon or sitting room, a fully-equipped guest kitchen, and a private covered porch. The lower level is highlighted by a handsome den and gathering hall with a half-bath. There is a private catering kitchen in the lower level which is reserved for the exclusive use of the host-owner and chef for onsite private chef services and all on-site catering. Note: Private chef and catering services are at an additional expense. Guests will have private and exclusive use of the home for the period of the reservation. Individual room reservations are NOT permitted. Guest gatherings are permitted for up to 20 guests. Any gatherings of more than 20 require prior approval and are subject to additional guidelines and requirements and will incur additional expenses per hour for the event. Gathering of more than 20 without prior approval is subject to immediate cancelation. Event-only reservation rates are $500 per hour Sunday-Thursday and $750 per hour on Friday and Saturday.
