Noise can be heard from both, however the trains do not blow horns and the sound quickly becomes soothing. The highway sound is not direct and is not bothersome to most. The home is on a hill with steep drive. 4 wheel drive will be required during the winter months. Guest access The entire Cabin is yours to use. There is a private side yard with a nice grassy area and fruit trees and a large deck overlooking Lake Pend Orielle. Other things to note Please note: During the winter months a 4 wheel drive vehicle is a must. The road leading to the cabin is narrow and steep. We encourage being comfortable driving in mountain conditions. Chains may be helpful. Please notify us if you will be towing watercraft or trailers of any kind.
