The space Let yourself be lulled by the gentle murmur of the river and immerse yourself in the magical world of La Sumac. Nestled in the middle of the forest, this charming half-moon Hobbit-inspired cabin offers you a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway by the water. Inside you will find two queen beds, one perched on a mezzanine accessible by a ladder. From there, climb onto a catamaran-style hanging net: a real hanging cocoon, perfect for reading, relaxing or simply dreaming. A sofa bed can accommodate up to 6 guests, although comfort is optimal for a family or 2 to 4 adults maximum. 🍳 The kitchen is fully equipped for independent cooking: Two propane burners Small fridge with freezer Dishes, utensils, bowls, fondue set And a year-round propane barbecue ☕ Start your days with a good coffee prepared with the Keurig machine (1 capsule per adult per day included). 🚿 The bathroom is complete, with a modern shower and a high-end compostable toilet. Towels, bedding and Pure and Oneka eco-friendly products are provided — for your comfort and that of nature. Outside, experience nature in great comfort! Enjoy a large, carefully designed private terrace: a welcoming gazebo and, above all, your private Nordic spa and wood-heated sauna for an incomparable relaxation experience. An outdoor fireplace awaits you to extend your evenings under the stars, while inside, a propane fireplace in the living room will envelop you in warmth and softness after a beautiful day outdoors. 🌬️ There is no air conditioning, but thanks to the nearby river and the forest surrounding the valley, the temperature remains pleasant throughout the year. Fans are also available to guests. ✨ As night falls, let the magic work... more than 200 feet of light garlands line the path along the river, creating a soft, romantic and unforgettable atmosphere. The accommodation is not suitable for young children, babies or people with reduced mobility, but we welcome families who are aware of the natural environment. Other things to note Some important details for a smooth stay at Exode en Nature: 🐾 Pets Dogs under 50 lbs are welcome, provided they are kept on a leash at all times on site. For their comfort, please bring a cage, as well as their bowls and accessories. Please note that dogs cannot be left alone in the accommodation in your absence. Unfortunately, cats are not allowed. Thank you for your understanding. 🚶‍♂️ Access to the accommodation A trail of about 600 feet separates the parking lot from your unit. 🚭 General rules All our accommodations are non-smoking. Each booking includes a maximum of two parking spaces. There is no television, but you will have access to Wi-Fi, perfect for disconnecting... or for teleworking in the heart of nature! 🛁 Your private wood-fired hot tub – an authentic experience The Nordic bath is accessible all year round and operates with a wood heating system, surrounded by nature and the sound of the river. It's a two-step ritual that reconnects you to the present moment. You'll need to light the fire yourself to heat the water — a great way to immerse yourself in the experience! 💡 In winter, it takes 5 to 6 hours of heating the first day. The temperature will then be easier to maintain for the following days. Note that in times of intense cold (below -20°C), you may not be able to reach an optimal temperature, despite your efforts. No preheating service is offered, so you can fully enjoy this nature experience at your own pace. 🌲 Total immersion in the forest You are in the middle of nature: it is therefore possible to come across insects, small animals or even wildlife. This is part of the charm of the place and is not related to the cleanliness of the place, which is a priority. We invite you to close the doors properly to avoid unwanted visitors.
