A once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in a traditional Japanese temple. With guided "Zazen Meditation" sessions and the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, guests can immerse themselves in nature and cleanse themselves of the negative aspects of daily life in the city. The reservation includes the following experiences: zazen, tea ceremony, vegetarian dinner. Dry garden and Shakyo are also available as paid options.” The space Fully equipped with Japanese embellishments such as tatami mats, shoji doors, and pagoda roofs, this temple stay is truly one of a kind. In addition to your room, there are common areas like main hall, lounge, and kitchen. There is 1 shower and 2 commodes that are shared with other guests. Less than a 1 minute walk from your room is Erinji Temple, the family temple of the legendary Samurai Shingen Takeda, rich with the essence of Japan and rooms that overlook a picturesque Japanese garden. Guest access Guests will have access to their individual room, the shared bathroom, the shared kitchen, the shared main hall, and the shared lounge. Other things to note ※Japanese and English only. We will communicate through an interpreter device. ※The experience starts at 16:00 and you should arrive by 15:30. Please note this was once a temple. If the shower or commodes are occupied, guests can walk to a nearby Onsen for bathing. Also, this temple stay is meant for spiritual wellness and cleansing. There is no wi-fi or television.
