This little cabin is the perfect stepping off place for hiking and exploration in summer and skiing or snowshoeing in winter. It is 25 minutes walk to the center of town and a 5 minutes bus ride from the gondola. The bus stop is only 5 minutes walking down the hill. You are well placed for all your Alps adventures. The space This is a small mountain cabin with an open space living room, eating area with a small dining table and kitchen. It is cosy and functional but not spacious or luxurious. The bathroom on the ground floor has a shower and toilet, sink and mirror. There is a steep staircase (!) leading upstairs to where you will find a double bed and 2 single beds (the single beds can be put away to provide more space if not used). The upstairs is a loft space under the roof and you cannot standup completely in the space. There is a small garden in front of the cabin and a shared garden in the back. Guest access The whole chalet is for the guests use. The gardens and parking area are shared with me. Occasionally I will have a BBQ in the large garden, though guests will be informed in advance of this. There is a small private seating area for the chalet and a larger picnic table in the large shared garden. Other things to note Please note that our little road is not professionally maintained and if there is a heavy snowfall then access can be difficult without a 4 wheel drive. We shovel the snow by hand. This is a rare occurrence (perhaps twice in the season) but guests need to be aware of it and plan accordingly. If you do not have a snow friendly car when there is a snowstorm then you will need to park down the hill and walk up to the house.
