Randi's Blue Cabin in Grand Mere
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This 500 square foot cabin is conveniently located off 1-94 Exit 22, it seems like a world away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to everything. Built in the 1930's or 1940's I have kept the wonderful original woodwork, but updated the cottage with a new bathroom and a complete kitchen. Steps away from the Michigan State Park of Grande Mere known for its miles of trails through the woods, dunes, inland lakes, and access to Lake Michigan. The neighborhood is a safe, quiet, neighborhood bordered by 3 lakes. We have North Lake when you first drive into Grand Mere, this has a playground, pavilion, and picnic tables. Middle Lake is great for kayaking and bird watching. Lake Michigan is not assessable due to erosion unless you hike through Grand Mere State Park through the dunes which is a very nice walk. There are many nice beaches to drive to. Great restaurants, farms and farm stands, award winning wineries and breweries, great little towns to explore. The cabin is right off of 1-94 for people to easily discover other areas in Southwestern Michigan. To get to the cabin get off 1-94 exit 22 in Michigan.
