The Cosy Cart Shed

The Cosy Cart Shed is a perfect retreat for couples or friends looking for relaxation in the Norfolk countryside. Located in the village of Buxton, in an off-road setting on a picturesque working farm. The Cart Shed is situated close to the wedding venues of Hautbois Hall and Oxnead Hall (which has a direct walking route from the guesthouse). Buxton village is located on the River Bure, perfect for fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding, dog walking and watching the local wildlife. The space The Cosy Cart Shed is a beautiful space, converted in 2023. All on one level, it retains some of its original features and feels spacious with its beams, tall ceilings and hard wood flooring, whilst remaining homely and warm. The Cart Shed has an open plan layout, with a luxurious king sized bed, dedicated dining area and comfortable living space with smart TV and sofa. The stylish kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of storage and an air-fryer, perfect for preparing meals, (please note an oven is not included.) The Cart Shed has a spacious bathroom, boasting a large walk in shower and vanity unit. Outside the property there is a private decking area with bistro table set, barbecue and outdoor lighting, perfect for outdoor dining and soaking up the sun. Guests have their own dedicated parking space on site. The property is ideal for couples or friends, including the elderly or less mobile or those with a babe-in-arms, as there is plenty of space for a travel cot, which is provided. If staying with a dog, bowls, poo bags and a complimentary dog treats are provided. Please note there is a £10 fee per dog per stay. Guest access The guesthouse is entirely private and for your sole use, with a secure and enclosed decking area to the front. We live in the adjoining barn, so you may see us passing occasionally. We have a friendly 5 year old Boxer Dog called Bruno, who you may see in our garden. Other things to note Please note there is a £10 dog fee, per dog per stay.
