The cabin has a perfect location, easy access to several destinations, mountain trips and nature experiences: Vaset, Beitostølen, Besseggen, Fagernes, etc. You can also spend lazy days at the cabin and swim in Slidrefjord. At Fagernes there is a sandy beach. The plot is under development. There is electricity in the cabin but no running water. Washing water must be collected from the fjord or a water pump must be used. Panel heaters are installed in the cabin. There is a cabin, a pantry and an outhouse. Bus stop right by the cabin. The space The cabin is located down by Slidre fjord and the car is parked up in the parking lot by E-16. The cabin is located on a dead end road, the last cabin on the cabin field. The car can be driven down only with a 4-wheel drive car. If you have mobility problems/are elderly/injured, the road down to the cabin can be challenging. It is a steep downhill 20-30 meters from E-16. If you leave the car in the parking lot, only bring the necessary items from the car. It is about 400 meters from the parking lot to the cabin. Guest access Guests can sleep both in the cabin (3 persons) and the pantry (2 persons, no heating). The key to the cabin is in the key box at the front door and the code will be given to you before your arrival. Other things to note The cabin is left tidy, vacuumed and the table and bench are wiped. There is some bed linen, but feel free to ask if there is bed linen available.
