Large well-equipped cabin with jetty. Works well for 2 families. 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, 2 bathrooms, beds for 5-12 people. 300m from Grefstadvika, (large popular beach), 15 min from Grimstad, 20 min from Arendal. Can be rented with heated pool (4.5×2m), kayaks, small RIB/4hp, 16-foot boat/100hp for an additional fee. The cabin is about 120 sqm, inspired by old Sørland houses, with low window sills and LOW DOOR FRAMES (NB 174 cm), but this gives extra cozy atmosphere indoors! The space There are really 2 cabins located at an angle, both cabins have bathroom with shower, sauna, large bedroom living room with fireplace and kitchen. The cabins are completely shielded, with minimal view from other cabins. It is arranged for cooking outdoors with barbecue and loose hobs. The back of the cabins forms a cozy space with dining area and sunbathing, while the front has a large plot with an outdoor sofa facing the sea. There are 5 pitches (+ jetty) in different places that provide variation according to weather, wind and mood. Other things to note All door frames are 174 cm high, which gives a very cozy atmosphere - but which also means that normally tall people have to bend their heads a little to go through doorways. The drain is private and very difficult to clean. Food waste and other items should not be sent down the drain. It is recommended to use strainers in the drains in both kitchens. The cabins are built in 3 building stages. 1964, 1979 and 2000. The upper cabin "Gamlebua" is slightly larger than the lower cabin "Nybua". There is about 1 meter height difference between the cabins. The kitchen in Gamlebua does not have an oven. Otherwise, both kitchens have a fridge, 4 burner stove, microwave, full size dishwasher, and some smaller electric kitchen appliances. Both cabins have a living room with 2 beds, the bedroom in Nybua has 4 beds: 140 cm + 120 cm + 2x80 cm bunk beds. The bedroom in Gamlebua has 180 cm + 3 pcs 90 cm beds of 200 cm, 160 cm and 140 cm length respectively. Washing machine, dryer and large freezer are in the basement under Nybua. Access only via outdoor stairs. There is no toilet in any of the cabins, but a separate "toilet building" 25 meters away, which has a normal toilet. Outside the jetty it is very shallow, so any use of the engine must be stopped a few meters outside. On good weather days, a small boat can be docked at the jetty, or hang out on a rope between land and a reef just outside. (the 16-foot boat can also be docked on the rope). If it gets windy, a small boat can easily be tilted up on the jetty, while any larger boat must be driven into a fixed berth in Fevik Marina, (2.5 km by boat / 3.8 km by car)
