Guest access Guests are welcome to explore 1,140 hectares of Whitestar Station: Spring-fed creeks — swim in the 3m deep swimming hole or paddle in the shallows. Bush & waterfall walks — two hidden waterfalls make the perfect summer swim. Tramping options from 1–6 hours through bush, farmland, and up into the ranges, with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean & Hauraki Gulf. Farm maps provided to guide your adventures. Other things to note Pet-friendly: Dogs welcome for $30 per stay (note for guests with fur allergies: we do our best to remove pet hair but can’t guarantee 100%). Water: Our supply comes from a natural mountain stream. If you’re not used to untreated water, we recommend boiling before drinking. Shops: If arriving after 5pm, stock up in Coromandel town — Colville’s local store closes early. Whitestar Station has been in our family since 1864.
