Seeley Oaks A-Frame | Serene, Modern, Near Trails
This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. It's a total of 700 sq ft, with a queen bed in the loft, in-floor heat, full kitchen, and washer and dryer. Less than 2 mi from Highway 63, 8 mi from Cable, and 10 mi from Hayward. IG: @Seeleyoaks You will turn off of Peterson Road and drive up our scenic winding .33 mile gravel driveway through 40 acres of hardwood forest. During the summer, you'll be heading through a canopy of leaves. Once you arrive at the cabin, there is ample parking next to and around the area, as well as a circle drive. So, if you plan to pull a trailer, you have plenty of space. You can park your vehicle within footsteps of the deck and door. The cabin is situation near the center of the property on the highest point. When the leaves are off the trees, you get morning sunrises that rise over the east ridge of the Namekagon River Valley. You have access to the entire house and the entire 40 acres. The driveway is approximately 1/3 of a mile, so you're set back in the woods away from any road. We have the property boundaries flagged so you can watch for those. There are no trails on the property, but you are welcome to wander through the woods. It's open oaks and maples which makes for a great walk around the property. I live in Hayward. I will be available for any questions, but I will not be there to meet you, bother you, or to check in on you, unless you request it. I take your privacy and time away seriously and want to respect your space. The area is all wooded with few neighbors. It's very quiet and, although it's only 2 miles from Hwy 63, you don't hear the road noise. The driveway is long so you're insulated from any of that road noise as well. Seeley is a great jumping off point for all of the outdoor activities in the area. We have a 50-amp 125/250V outlet and available extension cord for your car charger (contact us ahead of time for that.)
