We are always available for any needs or requests during your stay. We are located just 20 minutes from Pantelleria Airport. Other things to note Some tips to enjoy the island to the fullest: Here everything revolves around the wind and currents. There are two dominant winds, which alternate continuously: the sirocco and the mistral. Our luck is that right under the house there are some of the most beautiful and accessible coves on the island: Cala dell'Elefante, Cala Levante and Cala Tramontana, which you can also get to on foot. With the mistral, the most protected coves are: Cala Levante, Cala Rotonda, Cala Cinque Denti, and Martingana. In the last days of the mistral, when the wind is not too strong, you absolutely have to go to the Laghetto delle Ondine, a 15-minute walk to get to a place that is absolutely a spectacle of nature. With the sirocco, I suggest Cala Tramontana and Cala dell'Elefante, Cala 5 Denti. There are many beautiful descents to the sea on the island, I have not discovered them all yet... if you have a local guide, go and explore and then tell me what you have discovered. When the wind is calm, it is absolutely worth taking the boat and going around the island. They also organize night excursions to the Punta Spadillo lighthouse, where there is also the volcanological museum, if you are tired of too much sea. There is a cart with delicious granitas that goes around all the coves, for the times follow the profile (Katia ice cream parlor) Bakeries and groceries: Terremoto, Khamma's institutional bakery, in addition to good bread, prepares arancini, baked pasta, parmigiana and an excellent lemon cake. In August, I'm told that the bread runs out quickly... you have to go early in the morning and stock up. Alimentari 2000 and our trusted groceries, they also have homemade pesto pantesco, you absolutely must try the cunzate alla pantesca olives and the tumma, the typical cheese. There are other grocery stores in Tracino, they are all average. La Portella bar and pizzeria, the bar is simple but has a terrace with spectacular views, they prepare baci panteschi and cannoli on the spot, even to take away... The Beluga is THE BAR in Tracino, live music, karaoke, sports, everything happens here. Restaurants: excellent in the hills: From Murana to Mueggen (vegetarian restaurant that only serves products and wines grown by them, an experience to be had immersed in the vineyards) U Runcune (excellent restaurant, winner of Alessandro Borghese's "4 Restaurants" program, local cuisine) Rifugio Firiciakki (nice place, special cuisine) under the house with a sea view: Acquamore is the restaurant of the Pantelleria Dream Resort, 5 minutes' walk from our Dammusi, excellent cuisine and impeccable service, with a beautiful view of the sea. Le Cale, very nice both at lunch, offers both a restaurant and a bar with sandwiches and arancini, and at dinner, by the sea, a crazy view of Cala Levante, where the moon rises. It is located right below the house, very convenient! Il Principe e il Pirata is a very good seafood restaurant, typical of the place, a guarantee. Great for lunch. Restaurants with sunset views: La Dispensa Pantesca offers revisited typical dishes to be enjoyed at sunset on the roofs of a dammuso, Lido Shuruk is the only beach on the island with sun loungers and umbrellas, good cuisine, and by reservation they also prepare couscous.
