Did you want to live like a lord of the castle and a noble lady? Then you have come to the right place in the Ritterstube! The old house is located under the ruins of Ulmen Castle and was completely renovated in 2021 and furnished in a very romantic way. There is space for 2-6 people on 100 square meters. The Ulmener Maar, a volcanic lake, is only 100 m away, where our second holiday home is located. An unforgettable vacation! Great for a romantic anniversary. Near Mosel and Nürburgring The space The Ritterstube is a very pretty half-timbered house, which is second to none. It stands above a vaulted cellar and the entrance can therefore only be reached via stairs. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with exquisite four-poster beds as well as a newly renovated bathroom in a country house style and of course: the knight's armor! A staircase (steep staircase!) Leads to the second floor, where you will find a fully equipped, light-flooded kitchen with every comfort and a fantastic panoramic view as well as a cozy living room with a sofa bed (box spring) for two more people. The two chimney figures, Kunigunde and Adalbert, watch over the house! Please be kind to both! It is a wonderfully romantic domicile for your honeymoon (or the anniversary, the silver wedding anniversary, a romantic weekend ...) There are costumes for children, because residents of a knight's room want to dress like princesses or knights. Ulmen offers countless wonderful views and is very centrally located in the Eifel. Directly on the road there is access to wonderful and rustic hiking and mountain bike trails or walking routes to the Ulmener Maar, a volcanic lake and of course: the ruins of the Ulmener Burg. The town center with small shops and restaurants are only 150 m away on foot. Nürburgring and Cochem on the Moselle are only 20 minutes away by car. The legendary Eltz Castle is 40 minutes away by car. Guest access You have the house to yourself! In the courtyard there is a seating area with garden furniture and an electric grill is in the lockable bicycle cellar. You can easily load and unload your car in the courtyard. Please park on the market square in front of the town hall. It is only a 50 m walk, there are also charging stations for electric vehicles. There is an old farm directly across the street. Sometimes the calves are allowed to run around in the locked yard. Other things to note The stairs in the house are really steep and old, that is, the steps are not all level and higher than normal. Armor and chimney figures are works of art, just like the furnishings in both bedrooms, especially the red bedroom with the wall paneling.
