Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Situated in the most sought-after area in Stellenbosch, you'll be walking distance from the famous 5-star Lanzerac Hotel and Spa, the well-loved "Bergpad" (mountain walking route), and 8 minutes drive from midtown. The house is built in typical 70s era style, with large northfacing windows that fills the house with light and a sense of spaciousness. The large, neat garden and oversized pool are constant delights for a family or group. The space This large, 4/5 bedroom house is ideally north facing, capturing a wonderful amount of sunlight from most of the living and bedrooms. The wooden floors and wooden ceilings create a warm and friendly atmosphere, enhanced by the fireplace and comfortable furniture. The house has an easy flow to it, with open plan living / dining areas, which are both connected to the well-equipped kitchen. A separate family / TV room creates the possibility for adults and kids to be entertained in separate areas, although they are also connected with a door that can be closed. The main bedroom is en suite and private, situated on the far end of the house. It has to be reached via the family / TV room. The rest of the bedrooms (2, 3, and 4) leads out from a single passage way, with three separate bathrooms. One bathroom contains a shower and toilet and the other one a bath, with the third being a separate toilet. The swimming pool is enormous, boasting 75 liter capacity. It is surrounded with a lovely lush garden and neat lawn. A soccer net and outdoor ping pong table has lead to many happy hours in this garden. The porch is small but ideal for sundowners overlooking the changing colours of the Stellenbosch mountains at sunset. Overall this is a very happy space that can only lead to a very relaxing time away. Guest access Access to the whole house is available, except the outside pool house and garage which contains storage. Other things to note We have two family cats and would appreciate a pet-loving group to book our place and assist with filling up their food bowls with dry food (provided).
