If you are looking for a lake getaway, look no further. Bring the family, bring the dog, or just bring yourself, but come and enjoy the beauty of Hyco Lake. Our private guesthouse is the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It's cozy, comfortable and accommodates four people. You have access to a private dock where you can swim, fish, boat, or just lounge in the sun. If you love the serenity lake life offers, then this is the place for you! The space The space you will be staying is a private guesthouse which is in a separate building on an acre property. You will have access to our dock and are welcome to tie your boat up if you have one. The first floor consists of a game room, which has a pool table, ping pong table, air hockey, dart board, and poker table. Also on the first floor is a living area containing a trundle bed which has two twin mattresses. Located upstairs is the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The kitchen has a sink, keurig, kettle, double cast iron burner, mini toaster oven, and mini fridge. It does not have a full oven. We also provide plates, cutlery, pots and pans, and anything else you might need. The bathroom has a single sink, shower/tub with a curved shower rod for added space. The bedroom has a queen sized bed, 2 wicker chairs for a sitting area, a dresser, and large television. There are several cubbies in the room which allow for storage of your items. There is a covered area outside the guesthouse which has a swing, table, and gas BBQ grill. Feel free to use any of these items. Please note there is no direct view of the lake from the guesthouse. It’s a short (100 yard) walk to enjoy the dock, the lake, and everything it offers. The Virginia International Raceway is a mere 15 minutes (11 miles) away! ******Last but not least, We love traveling with our dogs and welcome yours at our rental. If you do plan on traveling with your fur baby, please let us know. There is a $100 fee if you do not notify us. Guest access The main house and porch is off limits to guests. Other things to note We love our dogs and know you do to. This is why we allow up to two dogs on the property during your stay. We ask you be respectful of our neighbors and if your dogs need to be on leash, then they are kept on leash. Please pick up any waste made by your pets. If you do not notify us of a dog traveling with you, we will charge a $100 fee. There is wi-fi on the premises and a Chromecast for you to watch via your device. There is a camera present that covers the parking area of the rental.
