Description

With stunning views across the open countryside of the Bray Valley, access to the gardens facilities at Little Bray House, countryside walks and Exmoor National Park on your doorstep this is a great getaway location. Built on a site of interest - the pods are made from a repurposed Army building left here since WWII when the army used the Little Bray Estate as a searchlight headquarters and a satellite POW camp. Each pod has a log burner, king size bed, "camping gaz" stove and plenty of space. The space This is our SECOND Glamping pod which is a few meters south of the first pod, but leaving plenty of space between, providing plenty of privacy. You are right on the boundary of two fields with amazing views across the valley and back to the house. The glamping pods are designed to be super spacious for two. Everything is in one room, with fantastic views of the valley and a log burner which makes it lovely and cosy even in miserable weather. Exmoor can be quite changeable! Showers and toilets are a little walk away with two hot showers and two toilets in a purpose built ablutions block on the site of the army ablutions block from the wartime occupation. The gardens at Little Bray House provide open space and relaxation areas and we have access to adjacent woodlands. Guest access Guests have a private space in each glamping pod with full access to the grounds and facilities at Little Bray House. We also have fishing rights on the River Bray which guests may take advantage of by arrangement, subject to a rod licence. Other things to note Please do an internet search for “Little Bray House” to find out website for more information and history of Little Bray and the glamping site. Please note, the glamping units have solar power only. This doesn’t provide enough power for a reliable fridge so we do not provide one at present.
