A beautiful cottage, which is our dream come true, that we are happy to share with you. The cottage, built in 1919, has undergone a complete extensive renovation (2023), which has made the building an ideal place to relax. The entire renovation was done with an emphasis on creating a pleasant, even family and comfortable environment from which you will not want to return home, just like us and our family. The building is located in the immediate vicinity of the Krkonoše National Park - the cottage is surrounded by forest on two sides. The space The cottage for rent provides accommodation for 13 people in 3 bedrooms. Bedrooms and rooms: Hallway: From the main entrance, which is equipped with a self-service safe for handing over the keys, you can get directly to the spacious dressing room, which also serves as a dryer for clothes, shoes and sports equipment (ski boots, cycling clothes, trekking clothes, etc.). The drying room is equipped with an automatic dehumidifier that dries everything and prepares you for the next adventure. Lounge: The spacious room offers a quiet seating area by the TV or fireplace, or you can use the relaxation corner with a glass of wine and a good book. Dining room and kitchen: They seamlessly follow the living room and allow pleasant contact with friends at the table while cooking. The kitchen is fully and modernly equipped with everything that is standard today: refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave, automatic espresso coffee machine Delonghi (bean coffee), kettle, toaster, all dishes and glasses. Covered terrace: Directly from the kitchen you can go out to the courtyard with a covered terrace, where you have a gas grill (only in summer) and wooden seating. Rooms: On the first floor there are three bedrooms with a total capacity of 12 beds in 3 rooms, plus the possibility of a full bed for 1 person in the living room. Room 1 - Room for 4 people. One double bed and two single beds. Room 2 – Room for 4 people. One double bed, one single bed and one "children's" bed (172 cm). Room 3 – Room for 4 people, which is divided into a master bedroom with a double bed and a separate room with a smaller double bed - ideal for children. In the hallway upstairs there is also a play area, equipped with toys, board games, etc. Facilities: On the ground floor of the cottage there is a spacious bathroom with a large shower, toilet, double sink, washing machine and dryer. Directly from this bathroom is the entrance to the Finnish sauna equipped with electric digital stove with the possibility of regulation from 40° C - 110° C, where up to 6 people can comfortably fit, in the sauna you can play your favorite music via bluetooth for even better relaxation, start light LED therapy and after sauna and cold shower you will find sun loungers for perfect rest. Apart from the main bathroom, there is a separate toilet in the hallway on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a smaller bathroom equipped with a sink, toilet and a small bathtub. Heating: Maintenance-free electronically adjustable heating that works even on colder days during the summer. Even in the summer months, the bathrooms are equipped with heating ladders, which guests turn on themselves. For a better atmosphere, the cottage can also be heated with stylish wood-burning stoves. (no charge for burnt wood - all included in the price of the stay). Guest access Guests have the entire property at their disposal, where they will be completely private. Transport, parking: Parking right in front of the cottage, where 5 cars can fit comfortably. The cottage is accessible all year round by an asphalt road, which is maintained by road workers even in winter. Other things to note !!! IMPORTANT !!! During the winter (January-March) and summer (July-August) holidays, we prefer accommodation for 7 nights with arrival and departure always on Saturday. Meals Self-catering, the building has a fully equipped kitchen, including all appliances, dishes, etc. Alternatively, if you are tired of trips, you can visit restaurants that are within walking distance. In the village there are grocery stores, a nice wine shop with a café and a renowned cheese factory where you can get unrivaled homemade bread. Cottage amenities The Maršovská cottage is equipped with a combination of modern and retro-style wooden furniture to ensure maximum comfort, convenience and a feeling of home comfort. There is a smart TV with Netflix, HBO, O2TV, Disney+ streaming accounts, as well as wireless WiFi internet connection - all included in the price of the stay. We have fitted modern technologies to the traditional Krkonoše cottage, from remote-controlled heating, Finnish saunas with sound and light therapy, to an equipped kitchen, where any chef can cook. Kitchen - fully and modernly equipped with everything that is now standard: refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave, automatic espresso coffee machine Delonghi (bean coffee), kettle, toaster, all dishes and glass. Bathroom - equipped with an automatic washer and dryer. Bed linen - is included in the price of the stay. You will also have cotton sheets ready for the sauna. In the kitchen, standard detergents, towels, etc. However, please bring your own bath towels and towels. Stairs - standard wooden with railings for adults and children. Spacious covered terrace - there is a gas grill and wooden seating. Drying room - For cyclists, skiers and tourists, we have prepared a spacious dressing room / drying room in the vestibule, where there is an automatic clothes dryer, which will dry your clothes beautifully by the next day. You just hang your clothes on the prepared hangers. Bicycle / ski room - right next to the parking spaces, we have built a secure garage for your bikes, skis and other sports equipment. Trips, attractions, entertainment The cottage is suitable for groups of friends (cyclists, tourists, skiers), ideal for up to three families with children, celebrations and corporate teambuilding. The surrounding area offers active use of the holiday. The cottage is located on the edge of a very quiet street and is adjacent to a forest that is already managed by the Krkonoše National Park. Cycling, hiking, skiing are activities that the surroundings directly seduce you to, the cottage is located near several hiking and cycling trails, but also near the Krkonoše cross-country skiing highway. However, the wide surroundings will certainly be enjoyed by those of you who, on the contrary, seek quiet walks in the area, in the surrounding forests there are a lot of mushrooms or forest fruits, especially blueberries are abundant everywhere. The location of the cottage offers you the opportunity to use two famous resorts in the winter months. Janské Lázně with a ski resort on Černá hora and Pecí pod Sněžkou. Both resorts are about 7.5 km away by car and are combined into one resort under the name Skiresort ČERNÁ HORA - PEC, so you can use a single ski pass. It offers 40.2 km of ski slopes and 84 km of groomed cross-country trails. Free ski bus is a matter of course (ski bus stop is about 700 m from the cottage). Both resorts can be reached within 10 minutes by bus or car, and the cross-country ski trails start right at the cottage. Nearby resorts: Velká Úpa (7 km), Malá Úpa (12 km), Mladé Buky (8 km), Černý Důl (14 km). For the youngest guests, but also for the older ones, there are hilly meadows right next to the cottage, where you can use sleds and bobsleighs. Nearby is a swimming pool (Janské Lázně, Pec, or Trutnov), Relax Park in Pec pod Sněžkou, rope centers in Pec and Janské Lázně. Horní Maršov is the starting point for the mountains. Trips will take you to Pec pod Sněžkou, Černá hora, Pomezní Boudy, Růžová hora and Sněžka. ZOO - Dvůr Králové nad Labem 35 km.
