Ingotunet is a charming and cozy cabin located in scenic Rauland, Telemark, Norway. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful mountains and water and is a perfect base for both relaxation and adventurous outdoor experiences. The cabin is fully equipped with modern amenities and comfortable furniture that gives guests a fantastic Norwegian cabin experience. The cabin is an ideal choice for families, groups of friends and couples who indulge in something extra and who want to go on a trip and explore the best of the surroundings in Telemark. The space The cabin has a very attractive location at approx. 1000 masl overlooking the surrounding mountains. The cabin borders a great open area and has little view from neighbors. In winter you can put on alpine skis at the cabin wall and slide straight down to the ski bus stop in the cabin area. Alternatively, you can drive 10 minutes to get to Rauland Ski Resort. There are fantastic cross-country ski trails with a short distance from the cabin that takes you out into a large trail network with miles of well-prepared trails and amazing nature. There is a terrace around the entire cabin, so here you just have to move according to the sun and hide from the wind. Vierli cafeteria and winter park with children's ski slopes and other activities (mini scooters, saunas, kiting, snowmobile safari, etc.) are 3 minutes away by car. There are also separate kite courses on the Hardanger mountain plateau. Rauland Ski Center facilitates great skiing experiences for the whole family in a snow-safe mountain area. Rauland has a ski school offer for both beginners and advanced students who want to learn more. They offer private lessons in the disciplines: alpine, cross-country and snowboarding. Rauland Ski Center has rental of ski equipment (alpine, snowboard, cross-country, sled), café, children's ski clothing and catering. In summer, there are hiking trails outside the door with proximity to fishing waters. The cabin is located 15 minutes drive from Møsvann. There you can take a ferry to Mogen Turisthytte to experience Hardangervidda, which is Europe's largest alpine plateau and the Nordic region's largest national park. In 20 minutes you can drive to Vemork and visit the Norwegian Industrial Workers' Museum and experience what was once the world's largest power station, and which is now on the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the Rjukan-Notodden Industrial Heritage as well as the heavy water cellar which is best known for the sabotage action during World War II that was carried out on the night of February 28, 1943. 30 minutes drive from the cabin and you are in Rjukan where you can shop in stores, go to a café or eat a better dinner. Here you can also visit Rjukanbadet where they offer outdoor swimming all year round, gym, five pool areas; 25 meters competition pool with two slides, diving tower of 1, 3 and 5 meters, family department with play pool and training pool, wellness department with hot water pool, indoor and outdoor hot tub and wave/counter-current pool. Guest access The cabin has a modern and well-equipped kitchen of high quality. Dishwasher, stove + combi stove/micro and large induction hob. Other equipment includes: food processor, integrated Miele coffee machine, coffee maker, toaster, waffle iron, kettle, pots and pans of all sizes and all other necessary equipment to prepare delicious meals with family and friends. Around the dining table there is room for 10-12 people. The cabin is fully equipped with all kinds of tableware, crockery and glasses. The cabin contains 3 living rooms. 2 of the living rooms are equipped with TVs and AppleTV. The main living room on the 1st floor contains a large sofa + 2 good chairs. The loft living room has a large sofa with a chaise longue and a good chair. In addition, there is a TV room with a sofa and chair. 2 of the bedrooms also have TVs All TVs also have TV channels delivered via Fiber. Full WiFi coverage is ensured through access points and fiber line into the cabin. Several rooms have speakers for music playback via a Sonos system. The cabin also has an Espegaard fire pan for barbecue and bonfire as well as a gas fireplace outdoors for warmth and coziness in the evenings. The electricity is read for each rental period and charged according to consumption. Flannel bed linen and towels can be rented for NOK 150 per person. Mandatory cleaning of the cabin and bed linen/towels is carried out by the cleaning company, but the cabin must be roughly cleaned, tidied and vacuumed by the tenant. The tenant must also remove empty goods and waste and follow the check-out list on departure.
