Description

Lapin Cottage is nestled in the most beautiful pocket in Dorset. Situated on private farm land, it hosts rolling views of the Bride Valley and only a stones throw from the Jurassic Coast. Every comfort has been thought of in this cosy, romantic shepherd's hut. A luxuriously soft bed, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. You will wake up to a chorus of birdsong and the tinkling of bells from our sheep. The sunken bath on the deck is the ideal place for gazing up at the starry night sky. The space The Cabin is one room living which incorporates 1 double bed, a well equipped kitchen with, small oven and hob, and breakfast bar seating. There is additional outdoor seating and a table that seats four. We supply the usual, coffee and tea, fresh flowers, crisp white bed linen, towels and soaps. Separate bathroom with shower, lashings of hot water and flushing loo. If showers are you not your thing there is a one of a kind outdoor bath sunken in the decking area. The cabin is well heated and insulated, also including a towel rail in the bathroom. The cabin is surrounded by 140 acres of own land so feel free to roam and explore, visit the topiary nursery or discover our little farm and say hello to all the friendly animals. We are only 10 minutes drive from the coast with wonderful beaches to visit such as Burton Bradstock, Eype and Seatown to name a few. Bridport has much to offer with good independent shops and restaurants, and a vibrant market on Wednesday and Saturdays. Guest access Guests can park in the field next to the hut but there is also an option to park a five minute walk away depending on the type of vehicle you own.
